There is no way anyone can shoot 10 under or close to that with the way that they have this tournament set up.

Correction What you mean to say: I can`t shoot -10 in this tournament

Answer: doesn`t mean that other players can`t.

I can`t win the US masters or US open in real life , I`m not going to say well I can`t no`1 else can win because the simple true of the matter they are just 10x better then I am and in fact every aspect of real life there is always 1,000`s of people better then you in life work any sport and every day to day life.

There are people what real suck at some things and are real good at others.

I personally thing I am great at running away from dragons/lizzards but i am not bragging.

I'm teeing off up at St Andrews for real in around 3 hours.....will post my score card later on tonight to see how real life compares to virtual St Andies.

I can shoot 57 easy enough on here....so it should be a doddle in real life. The sun's out and wind forecast is light so here goes. I have a feeling it's going to be a great round of golf with some superb low scoring.

    Hello.

10 under is possible, because people have done it. You wonder how they can.

My first round was a 96, then I got a 79. Today I got a 68 (-2), would have been a 67 had I not missed one small putt on the back nine. I had five birdies. That is only my third full round.  I just took my time and tried to calculate every shot. You need a bit of luck also. It's easy to mess up your whole round on the 5th. I could have got a birdie there, but ended up with a bogey, which I was happy to get. That hole really messed up my first round, everything went downhill after that.

I really hated the course after my first round. The second round I was happy with. Now I quite like the course. You have to think carefully about every shot, know when you can use the driver and when you have to play safe. You need to think your way round the course.

Keep playing it and you will see it is possible to get a low score.

I saw that and I also have been looking at the lvl 90 equipment IS better, I will apologize for stating it as I did because I still have difficulty seeing those scores consistently when, as I have read before, how the program makes things go "differently" (from what I read it is called a Vsomething) to make it more difficult which I also understand.  I do know that probably about 70 % of the shot that I make that I hit correctly does not go in a way that is possible in real golf (which they talk about how "realistic" this game is to the real thing.  I also realize that perhaps I get a lot higher percentage of "making it more difficult" shots than most other players(also note that I said "on the shots that hit correctly".  I was also leaving it open as I said that it was possible and VERY unlikely to shoot scores on that tournament like that, however, it does show a lot of games that apparently do not have those things happen on their good shots.  Again I will say that I apologize for making it sound like I did and I should have waited to post it when I wasn't so frustrated at the high number of "bad" hits that I got when I do hit it correctly.  Like the ball going yards in the direction that the wind is coming from when I hit it correctly, shots going 30 - 40 yards shorter or longer than the club when they shouldn't etc.  I did try to say that I do not really care what others shoot even though I did post what I did. (I know then I shouldn't have posted it but I WAS frustrated at the time which is not a good time to post anything.

I think that I did say that, maybe not in those exact words.  I just have difficulty seeing how they can when they get those "programed off-hits" from program.  I do NOT resent or anything anyone else  hitting those scores.  In fact, more power to them if they do it honestly which it is up to them if they do or not.  Like I said in another reply, I should not have posted that when I did because I was still frustrated at those "programed off-hits" which is NOT a good time to make a post.  I freely admit that it was a BIG mistake to post it like that, especially since it is very difficult for me to write things in just the "proper" way.

I also do apologize to anyone that I offended since that was in no way shape or form my intentions!

This kind of thread is a broken record but whatever, he can say what he wants. I know for a fact there are cheat programs that give the exact distance and auto dings, I have seen them with my own eyes. I really don't get the point to be honest, so basically if you're doing this you're not even playing the game. you're just watching the software play for you...lmao

I don't believe any of the top players cheat, I think most of us are just plain good at this and are pretty bored of the game as it is. So using a cheat would mean most of us would be done with the game after a week from pure boredom. I'm pretty sure though some players cheat but it would only be speculation, so I would never call someone out for it.

I have these scores more than a few times and I can say it's very possible without cheating. After you play the game for awhile, you know how much elevation takes off or adds on you know how the wind is going to play. You know how to be aggressive on the putting in a way that it gives you a very good chance of going in. I have many days where my approach shots are average but my putting is really good so it makes up for it.
