  No, they would be from winning them. They have no "Real" cash value.

  Of course, and it only shows part of the winnings, not any challenge matches.

  There used to be gift cards in the Elite Shop enabling the return of some value to the real world (at a 1:6 conversion rate), but these have been cancelled and replaced by the caps and towels and such.

  The winnings shown in dollars are just an over exaggeration of a wild guess made by WGT of your earnings. Your career earnings are just the total of these conjectures. I think the man that does these at their head office is Mr H, Christian-Anderson.

  Hmm - tournament purses are in credits, the payout is in $$. IANAL, but this might be a lever to construe that credits are not only some virtual currency internal to the game but have a real world value which may lead to a legal cash-out demand.

  Any US lawyer with spare time at hand?

  I have a whopping $10.60 all from the generosity of WGT giving me the big bonus bucks for advancing from a hack to a Legend. Three years, hundreds and hundreds of dollars in balls and clubs and gifts. I should have invested in football bats, I could have made a fortune. Hind sight is 20/20.
