  I bought it as well..great club..but for heavens sake people haha,anyone who eligible to buy this driver has definately EARNED the level they are at,it is unfortunate that some wont make deadline or level before the time is up,but isnt that true on all clubs that you have to be sooo far along to be able to purchase it,mhmm

  Tried the vertical meter, you just cant teach old dogs new tricks, no way is that meter any easier to judge power or to hit ding, a bit of a waste.  Maybe if you're starting from scratch and never seen the normal meter but for us original meter crews, NO WAY, Its impossible to hit ding and feels like you're cheating on your wife

  As for the R1' Nice one WGT, i was counting down the months/years until i got to level 98, but who cares about the extra $5 i'm paying to get it now.  But first drive with vertical meter and new driver sent me right out of bounds on Merion 9. OOPS!

  Edit: I've just played some one with ORIGINAL level 98 R1, and in comparisson my level 93 R1 is EXACTLY LIKE the R11S!!! I'm getting out driven on best of famous hole 1, bethpage 1: 5 yards, Congressional par 5: 19 yards, Kiawah 3, 16 yards!!

  WGT It seems you are FRAUDING YOUR CUSTOMER As me and my opponent both used exact same backspin, no spin on the holes, you're selling R11s as the R1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  I'm with Chris. I picked St Andrews to be on the safe side...... and stayed in bounds by about 1ft ! Tried it on a couple of practice rounds and it's not for me. Have to say I thought the meter was really jerky on the 3 click option and again, probably not for me.

  I do like the idea of giving people the choice of which meter format they prefer and hope WGT can keep that in, as a permanent option.

  See my previous post, the R1 level 93 is NOT the same as level 98 one, it seems likie a big fraud as I've spent 9 holes playing with some one whoi has level 98 R1, and he has out driven me on every hole, both using same spin, The 93 R1 is like R11s at best

  Chris i hate to say it, but i think you might be right, lol. I was getting out driven by a R11s model every hole.

  Ouch, and i just sold my R11s, lol. WOW.

  I just hit L96 and saw I had 2.2 million xp to L97 and Lord alone knows how many from L97-L98.

  This should be a mistake! Getting 1000 XP per days means 5,45 years of continuos playing, and much more for getting at upper level. How could it be possible for someone to be at L100 since WGT started only 5-6 years ago or so?

  l had just reached 93 and thought another 2-3 months and l could finally get my hands on the R11s at 94.

  After the update i had a look like you do and saw the R1, thought sod and bought it, l must say l love it and as Chris says its the R11s in disguise, but to me it saves me waiting that extra 2-3 month, and for the extra tenner or so, l'll just stay out the pub for the next few days and lt will have paid for it self.

  They got you Chris and others. Just cause it's new doesn't mean it's better. I just don't know how they can do that to the people that are true to this game . It truly is sad $35.00 for the exact same driver. 

  Whats even more sad is people are paying the price. Which is only telling WGT if they pay that they will pay more so expect the price to play this game to go up up up up .

  Like I said before, it takes maybe 1 second to click , that's 1 second = $35.00. The club is already there it took maybe at the longest  4 hours of programming time to produce that club. It truly is sad

  If they have done that after what they did with the Versa when it first came out then they have lost all credibility! Please check again as this would be v serious IMHO!
