    Richard4168:

This is the only way us devoted players can keep up with this issue.

At the same time, again, WGT has to be devoted to closing these multi-accounts down. And I feel WGT should inform the community of their intentions, not their disciplinary actions.

One problem is that as soon as WGT closes down an account of a multi, the player just creates a new account and it starts all over again. There a just too many loop holes in tracking IP addresses to use that to curtail multis.

But, an unspoilt change includes transfer of the credits earned by cheating, including the resale of the clubs.

Let an account be shut down by authority, then there are no credits left for the new one. This might disencourage some, hopefully.

WGT dont care one bit about multi account players.  You just look at the level up bars & MAX clubs on offer.  Its like they're saying yes, you can start a new account but If you want to compete quicker you'll have to purchase the over priced Max irons so It win win for WGT.

I thought this problem with multi account players was just something I felt for a long time (sorry I don't look at the forum page very often) but recently (especially yesterday ) I have played with 'Masters' who have 'just joined 'WGT in the last coulle of weeks.  If they are real there should be a special place and prize for gaining this level so fast.   They ar truly "gifted".  Yes I agree WGT is in it for the money (which is sad beause it is the best golf game on site...but power corrupts in all cases).  If they  wish to keep some honour in this beautiful game; they should at least put these 'prodigy players' in a class separate from us mortals.

On one final moan; I have found that the more I advance the more ignorant people I meet.....so many now can not wish 'good game' at the start of a match (as is done in real golf)  and I have even found a few who are just insulting and do not deserve to be on any golf course...fantasy or real.

I don't play for creds, so I am not directly affected by cheating. I do see that it is a big problem in the game and needs to be addressed (no chance) by WGT.

If the player in question has shut down his 1st account to open a new one, then he is not breaking any rules. Or am I wrong? It's certainly not ethical or sporting behaviour though.

Depends on what the highest level of his/her first account was. If in fact it was legend or TL, then he/she would be.  I am pretty sure the TOS say that you can shut down an account and start a new one but you are not allowed to earn credits with that new one until you reach the equivalent level of the account you had previously.

So he/she may or may not be breaking TOS depending on when he/she started earning credits with the new account and where the previous account was in tier
