Nothing Earth shattering, just a question / suggestion on Max balls re spin.

Was hoping for a response to assist me in deciding whether to change balls or not....you know, a bit of customer service :-)

Something along the lines of "we have no plans in furthering the Max range at this time" / "that is not on our road map in the near future"

Also without having any dig at the mods as they do a difficult job well, but as far as WGT is concerned they make Mr.Magoo look sharp sighted at the moment.

I can't blame WGT for rushing out a Par 3 borefest, and therefore giving HIO every possible window as with the list of, "winners" . RGs well enjoy that's your thing, but sadly the uneven playing field detracts.  Move on to the pro shop and every trick in the book is out up to the average TM type level BUT then dead..................Some one suggested see 12 packs of ball's but the lazy pro can't even bundle that up.  Recent thread(s) stating what's wrong have received the, "thanks we will look at it" reply.

Are WGT waiting to see if PP take off. and then see if they want to compete or take the money and run option, before developing any new course?? That sell a sleeve of 12 balls should be a no brainer, but even that has not been done.  No we do not need better equipment but the way it is delivered above L83 for senior Legends / TLs anyway needs to be looked at.  OR the business model is fine for what WGT want, and so this is all pi$$ing in the wind..............

    Speechless.

Everyone here has said what is fair to say in this situation. Woody was surely the reference to the greetings of the Agent and probably also to those of Alan. Sorry to see that so many are talking about getting bored. Nothing to say but before the boredom would like to dispute the fact of having a series of problems such as those listed by Paul.

But this is the game, is actually expensive and should be revisited a little prices but this should be done by WGT and not required by his Customers: In two years I have not noticed substantial changes to what matters most to all: the meterbar. The only real improvement I've noticed only after changing the connection, switching to a more powerful band, with the uncertainty of the VEM. I know that the "updates" require investments in WGT then I trust that something can always improve but if it happens I will not leave. If you enjoy gaming platform, if you have an exchange of ideas with people who are not only players but friends, why get out of here. Golf is also boring to watch it from home and becomes interesting when you start to win something.

I think of the many who not only can play in this community have the pleasure of playing really, I do not think they ever thought of leaving the friends met in greens only because of deck purchased at IKEA.

Find your space in this community and continue to have fun and sorry if I have bored.

    Cheers,
    Davide.

Not wrong ^^, but got me thinking how much does an average L95'er spend (ie--ME) :-)

Andy, sorry I was not meaning to write off the level 90s as non spenders. This is far from the case, as you clearly demonstrate. In the last couple of months or so I have only put in $100, which has been for the R1, for balls and a few gifts along the way. Basically I have cut down playing - drastically. Not because I no longer love the game, certainly not VEM but because I see untold multi accounters creaming the system in the lower tiers. So not only will it drive away those new players who WGT need to capitalize on, but some of us older players who play less on principal. Thats why I have been vocal on this issue- yep I am a broken record!

    alcaucin:
The bugbear of many players...WGT's lack of communication !

I agree with has long been a major bugbear and I do agree, its like a welcome to the game.please leave your credit card details at the door - no need to say hello to others if we have that information! Ok that is unfair on the Mods but just making a point. The communication has improved recently and Andy, that thread really irked me as we were promised answers. They are slowly trickling in - thats all we asked for and without the constraints of timeframes.

    alcaucin:

Surely if other L90+ ers are spending likewise then we should be 'looked after' / catered to a bit more than it seems we are..

And again, this was the driving reason for Chris' Post "wherefore art thou". I have stated so many times in the past, there is no loyalty program, there is no reward for getting to higher levels, in fact it is quite the opposite - evidenced by the sheer number of multis. I can reelof a list if I take 30 minutes to research - if I can..............

The post I was referring to: http://www.wgt.com/forums/t/184070.aspx

What would it cost to give a player a sleeve of the balls they use for reaching the next level (higher levels only), of giving bulk purchase prices on balls, on rewarding a player reaching the next level with more than a joke of a reward. INCENTIVES = thats the word, I have heard of it, but  WGT obviously have not.

That is why, again on principle I left Nation - as it did not deliver what was promised. Ok there have been a few minor improvements of late so well  done for that!

OK I admit, yes it will cost a little, but it costs WGT a hell of a lot more if the loyal spending players leave. Yes snag the new players and get them to spend as they do, but keep the old timers who will continue to spend. Lose either and the business model is flawed IMO.

Now the last thing I will admit, is not every high level player actually spends money, they may be good enough to survive on credite matches, RGs etc, but somewhere along the line those players who lose their credit matches, RGs etc need to get more credits - the circle of WGT life.

Edit, I will "top up" again - will be another $50 as my paltry 43cr will not get me far lol, but then again, maybe I should treat that as a challenge and see what the best I can do with a starter ball. I am saturated so cannot really be called a bagger lol

And another great thread that aligns with the general mindset of senior level players ..

honestly, i cannot add anything that has not allready been said .. i've been in contact with Icon & he has responded to my PM's, but no defintive answers yet .. like Andy basically said, is a little customer service asking for too much ? Evidently it is .. just a little confirmation would have sufficed; "we are discussing it .. watch this space", "yes", "no", "we'll consider it" or "we won't" ..

communication, dialogue, feedback .. that's how you soothe annoyed customers .. no one appreciates a "we will look into it" and then .. nothing.

I'm surprised the general lash out isn't more severe.

i'm hardly back 2 weeks & i allready got a gnat up my a.ss with this issue .. WGT "strategy" truly bewilders me .. <scratches head>

Max range could be expanded... another color be nice...the black looks like a shadow or smudge moving on the greens....lol

I've been reading through a couple of pages....  I think the Mods are doing ok... as far as I know there is only 2 of em...Icon and Shoe and maybe somebody else pops there head in and goes away quickly.

Maybe it's Wgt head office where the communication stops... not the Mods.

A good Incentive scheme for High Level players does sound good, whatever that may be....  Once you get in the L90's... that is a bucket load of games and golf balls in the past....  maybe slightly cheaper golf balls with the same specs.... or something simular

The only thing that really annoys me......   how many Big Comps have been started by Wgt that we down here can't enter..... comps with Holidays as prizes in the US....   I have no chance winning em... but would like to try....lol     that really annoys me.

That's my challenge, and I still love it. I find the amounts of dollars people justify spending on this game totally mind blowing.
