LOL - I am not particularly Royalist either and the tremendous fuss is beyond me. All that said the argument is they earn more than are given. I would say though that if we ditched the Monarchy then the UK we would be a Republic, and that's no more perfect a democracy then we have. That last Royal wedding did create an awful lot of enjoyment for many, and a good excuse for flag waving which can't be bad....................Getting political I guess:)
