This would be so easy to do.
You run it like the Fedex points system.
Each season runs for 3 months. You have 10 weekly comps. The top 70 qualify for 2 further weekly comps and the top ten after this are invited back for the end of season decider.
Each week for the first 10 weeks 10,000 points are distributed among the top 70 placed players using the same percentage formulas WGT used for distributing credits currently.
The top 70 players(those with the most points) after the first 10 weeks play in 2 further events that each have 20,000 points available.
The top 10 after these final 2 tournaments make it to the end of season shoot out.
The thing to make this work though is making the prizes worth the effort.
I would suggest a 100,000 credit payout for the final 10, distributed something like this;
1st place 25,000
2nd place 17,000
3rd place 15,000
4th place 12,000
5th place 10,000
6th place 8,000
7th place 6,000
8th place 4,000
9th place 2,000
10th place 1,000
There would be no prizes in the first 12 weeks, you are just playing for points.
If you're going to finance this through the tournament you need 200 people paying an entrance fee of 500 credits. I don't know how likely that would be?
To be honest this would be very simple to run as a community run tournament using the weekly single play comp but the nightmare would be the financing.
It would be a lot easier for WGT to set this up
