  For those who played in them, or followed...they were not called the WGT Tour, last one I recall was WGF Tour...which was World Golf Fall Tour.

  These were great tours Kurt but i think Genorb was looking more along the lines of WGT doing something official and similar for its customers and not relying on a customer to yet again run an unofficial tour. ( as good as they were)

  Indeed. There were very nice unofficial tournaments. I joined end of 2010 so I am not aware of the tournaments mentioned by Kurt. Still I was there during two ryder cups (not playing) and also a nice tourney deviation CC against all star (where I played).

  But I think it's not the job of the customers to organise some Tour (even if they can do it nicely). I think it's not a big amount of time for WGT to organise it and not a big amount of prize to give (for your information there were called WGT Fall/winter Tour championship, click the link).

  I hope to see something coming soon and some WGT employee jumping into this thread.

  Hi Geordie,  and yes i did realize this, was just trying to fuel the fire with some back information available for these types of tours for newer WGT players to see what went on then, and perhaps get them involved with the veterans like you and I in pushing the idea through WGT's firewall.   Good luck to us with that.    LOL

  Yes, a return of the Tour is the kind of thing that is needed.

  Gets everyone competing. 1 open every 12  months is not enough imho.
