    renniw52:

Damn shame to see another great one leave, I pay no attention to the crazy low scores because I am positive they cannot be achieved without some help, I have played enough to realize that if practice will allow you to shoot those scores, then I would have some. I have no desire to shoot a score that I did not get 100% on my own, with a little luck or a little skill. To constantly shoot all birds and eagles is total BS and I could not even imagine it meaning anything at all. If you have legitimately reached this skill level then you need to move on and design rockets for NASA. I am sure I will catch a bunch of hell for this post, but like I said, it can not be done without some serious intervention, not game after game. This game will not allow it unless you can by pass the VEM and game manipulation. End of my comment on this subject. I apologize in advance to any one doing it legit, for the others, hope you have no mirrors in your house.

So you say you are sure it can't be done but then apologize for the ones that are  legit. So all the videos made and tips i one have tried to give to the public and other have made showing meter and how we play all day doesnt mean *** in anyones eyes if i'm correct. You know Hans leaving the game is not a bad idea but for different reasons than yours. Id rather leave so the ones that have not put in the time and effort to remember shots and how certain putts break can play the game without my likes or anyof the other good ones so when they log onto wgt all they see are 65s and up shot from the field. Maybe then all will be happy.

I don't always say things in a gentle matter, don't mean to hurt any feelings. I am saying that this game will not let you shoot 9-10 under par every game, no matter how good you have become. The ones who clean up on all the credits game after game are not always playing by the rules (my opinion only) not because I can't do it, that is not the reason for my comment. I know and have known way to many great players on here who have gave their opinions about what is and what is not possible all the time. Anyone at any time can get on a roll and shoot some great rounds. To do it every game, every time is a stretch to say the least. I realize the cream of the crop will reset and start over as soon as they get a par, this does not show the realism of the game. If every PGA player birdied or eagled every hole, I would never watch another tournament on TV. I have many friends on here who have averages in the 50's, I have played them in AS games and see they are legit, they keep their lowest scores to maintain a low avg. I don't see them cleaning up every tournament. If the shoe fits, wear it, not trying to make any enemies at all, that is not my personality.

Any chance of a few balls before you hit the bricks.

Sorry to see you go Hans buddy :( I myself have also mentioned to WGT on ways they may be able to keep us old timers interested!   But I was also feeling the same way as you do as alot of us do with there being no incentive for playing anymore.. no hills to climb and nothing really more to conquer ...We've climbed to the top of the mountain to find a desert land..

WGT had mentioned that they would be more vocal on the forums about new plans and to take our feed back on what would take to make the game better.  That quickly died out as soon as it was introduced.  WGT is invisible  in the threads and the community. Like an abandoned machine here just to collect money and gladly welcome any new commer  to start in on the spending process.

Pretty sad to see old timers leaving the game. I don't think WGT cares if we stay or go! Which makes me a little angry after we've been here for so long.

I really don't think  they notice us or maybe they don't care to know who we are; as long as they have new people stepping through the door to spend that dollar.

Take care Hans and be good buddy.

Sorry to see you go.  I have only gotten into this game recently, and have been pretty much addicted since I've started.  I think I do pretty good, I've never won any tourneys, but I've placed in enough to win a few credits here and there.  I've never met you personally, but wish you the best!! Once a game starts taking over, and making you miserable and you're not having fun anymore, it's time to move on.  I used to be a WOW junkie, big time, but then it turned more into a part time job, and ever since then I've been looking for a decent online game to waste some time on, and I've found it with this game!!  I look forward to playing with some of you once I get up to your level, and if you ever need anything, feel free to hit me up in game!!

Let me try to explain my comments. I watched the best golfer in the world shoot an even par on Sunday, he won the tourney with a 15 under par, that was over 4 days. Very realistic. That is averaging less than 4 under per round. Now we are talking golf here. Are you a golfer or a gamer? I play this game to have fun with my friends, try to shoot the best I can and be a good partner. To shoot 10-11 under every 9 hole round I would have left this site a long time ago and found something else to excel at. What is the goal, the reason, the incentive to go so far beyond what is possible in a real sport. Golf is, to me, the most honorable sport in the world, to abuse it and make a joke out of it is un excusable.

not suprised by this......seems a lot of long time WGT'ers feel the same way. I feel the game is definitely headed in a wrong direction.....Hans is correct....some MAJOR changes are needed.

If it keeps going the way it is WGT will be relying on a new bredd of players as i think a lot of WGTers will move on.

Sry to see you go bud.....but understand 100%

Wow, truly saddening day for WGT.  It is eye opening to see players of this caliber leaving.  I hope this will cause a reaction from WGT.  To  be honest, I think you will start a huge chain of people leaving for good.

    Hope you come back.
