    YankeeJim:
I've plunked that tree once since I got the driver and it was because I clicked early.

Me too.But I somehow managed to land on one of the shorter tees and was able to hit my driver again and with a nice pitch and 1 putt still made par.

    LOL!

Must of been a 1 : 10.000.000 fortune that your ball landed on a forgotten tee there ;))

This is something to know, though. You can get to any tee and you'll have the driver teed up.Instead of playing to the fairway, play to the closest tee.  :-)

This is a great piece of sneaky course management, lol!

I've been considering whether or not there'd be any interest (or enough masochism, I should say!) in a Tough-It-Out From the Tips better-ball pairs event, perhaps to be staged towards the end of the year.

In practicing for it, to see how viable it is to play with Starter Clubs and Balls from the Legend tees, I've definitely realized that this strategy of sometimes playing deliberately to a forward tee is invaluable. You can get far more distance on a 2nd shot teed up than you will from an ugly spot in deep rough before the fairway.

I shot -1 par from the Champ tees with starter clubs on CCC by hitting to the ladies tees on 2 or 3 holes then hitting driver out to the fairway on the second shot.

Did I mention it was with Uneven Lies as well?   ;)

Was that with Mulligans? (just kidding)

Apart from that, Mulligans must be considered in further UEL tournaments. How to judge them? How to exclude them possibly?

    Just thinking...

    Hi Paul,

I did worry about that... (especially with Tough-It-Out 3 coming up soon; hope you'll take part again!)

... but Mulligans are only available in single-player mode, so community organized tourneys using UEL will be safe from potential abuse so long as they're played in pairs.

I do wish Mulligans, and other course set-ups (perhaps even club sets, and date of round) could be properly recorded on scorecards though. It would not only solve a lot of headaches for tourney organizers, it would open up imaginative possibilities for all sorts of creative tourneys.

    Cheers, Corwyn

OIC - didn't think of the MP thingy.

Alas, a TIO will not come into my mind until the Winter - now I tough it out at the real thing, outside :)

    CU!

LOL... no I did it months ago.

There's no Mulligans in multi-player rounds in practice mode. Corwyn and I tested it already.
