    overtheedge:

    Hi everyone.

I just have to say something I think everyone would agree - I have yet to see ANYONE go to these lengths including detail and precision to organize a community event.

I want to give a shout out to Corwyn and CerinoDevoti for putting together such a cool event and for organizing this event right down to the finest detail. Just incredible time, effort and dedication. WTG gentlemen.

    Agrees with all above.

    Best of luck everybody!

I will sponsor two additional sleeves of balls.

    1) Beat par as a final result.

    2) Beat par in round 4 of this tournament.

Definitely no easy goals, but possible to achieve. Let's get the tournament started and most importantly, have fun!

    Cheers, Hans

First of all, Hans I'm glade to see a post by you.

Secondly I agree that Corwyn & CD have put a lot of effort into these Tourneys. Their organization is, well............. "Top Notch".

As I stated in my first post, "Thx for the time it takes both of you to do this Tourney"

Well, the first round is in the books for me and Fred. Tough conditions, but very enjoyable.

Matt and I shared the fun this morning, really tough and often frustrating, but good time anyway with a very nice guy and a good player. Happy birthday Matt, I wish the course would be kinder with you on this special day  ;)  See you on the links soon.

Good luck everyone! (Tip: play it drunk! not early in the morning lol)

Just a heads up folks, I'm completely slammed with a deadline right now, so this will be short, and I hope to catch up fully in a couple of days or so (please note Leaderboard updates may be a little slow initially).

It's wonderful to see 4 players already in the clubhouse, having survived a tough first round (and no clubs have been thrown so far, by the looks of things!). Well done to all of you intrepid early posters!

Thanks too to Hans for his kind prize offer. To echo togemag, great to see a post from Hans here.

And thank you, everyone, for your kind words about the tourney organization. Now that the first drives and putts have been struck and sunk, I'm really looking forward to a smooth running, enjoyable... and extremely TOUGH tourney!!!

Great to see some folks got their round 1 games in already and I'm sure they'll be practicing for RSG before the rest of us. Don't be shy to tell the rest of us about how it went. The 19th hole talk we get in our Tourney threads is always fun to read.

I'm nearly embarrassed to be mentioned in thanks. Corwyn designed all the forms and wrote out all the explanations for the Tourney. It's his stunning level of detail that need be thanked by all of us including myself. I'm more the silent partner/test dummy/cheerleader for the event. :)
