Feels like I got screwed on the final hole. Leading up to it I had a chance of at least being tied for the current clubhouse lead...

17mph left-to-right wind, slightly against me.

Tee shot only goes 3-wood distance.

3-wood 2nd shot only carries 155 yards into the rough near a bunker and leaves me a horrendous lie. Had I known that the 3-wood would go that short I would've hit hybrid right.

3rd shot is a recovery to 32 yards, 6ft uphill to the green.

4th shot only goes 26 yards... despite me putting what I believe to be 35 yards on it.

2-putt double bogey. All because of that 3-wood that couldn't carry 160 yards past the bunker...

Anyway... there was a 1st hole restart because oneeyedjohn accidentally put the EZ Swings in the bag, but aside from that we did the full 18 in one go. oneeyedjohn was really having a bad day, felt sorry for him towards the end...

AARGH, forgot all about the green shot!

So I'm mildly concerned at this stage that my P for this one hasn't accepted my friend requests or played a round in over a week.

I'm sure he will probably pop up in the next day or two but when should I start getting myself prepared to find another person to spot me if he doesn't show up in time...Like Thursday?

I posted some 6 hours ago , but for some unknown reason my posts are being moderated, so I cannot correct any errors I may make , and it is making a nonsense of my participation in an event like this.

I know you're joking, David (hyena), but just to clarify in case others are wondering...

... the mulligan option is not available in multi-player games, which means tourneys like this can function!

But speaking of mulligans, my hunch is that they will equalize the field out a lot. They give newcomers to unevens a great opportunity to figure things out quickly.

In practice, I have to say part of me hates them! It is very hard to have the discipline not to use them to improve an approach or a rescue shot, so I fear it's going to come as a rude shock when the real round comes along and I can't!

FYI: Deedles and I are set to play Thursday morning Pacific time.

i loved them around the greens , ie hit one pitch , a flop or full , ect . and then see what way maybe the best when its for real ...

also me and MacDuff10 hooked up last night but she suffered a power outage after 3 and i was a lil drunk (shot 73 irl) so we are gonna try again tonight ...
