Matt and I played our 2nd round this morning. As last time, it was good to play with him.

Matt was off with his putter today and got so many unlucky lips out. I've been unlucky on 2 ding shots: 1st hole, Lie pushed me in the bunker despite of my aiming I thought well enough. 9th hole, Dinged tee shot left me short in the crap despite of a good wind which carried Matt on the fairway...go figure!

Unfortunately, I forgot to take a screen shot of the green speed, maybe Matt got it and will be able to post it later, he had to run after the game. Also, we both didn't understand the story about "gimme's"...and I can say that we don't know much about them after the game lol  What the hell are you talking about Corwin???  lol

Be sure, we didn't cheat in anyway, scorecards will prove this ;)

    hyena64:

Be happy to mark for you in about 10 minutes or so if you're green.         :-)

Edit:  Okay, so you don't want one. Okay by me.

    Hyena

    Thanks for the offer.

    Sorry I wasn't ignoring you

I have so much to do all at the same time, and still in a tired daze.

Cerino invited me to play and I accepted before I saw your offer.

I went red because I had to leave the PC for a moment.

    Hi Fred,

Thanks for posting. I'm glad you're still having fun... !!!

And wow! That bunker lie you got on the 11th (in your pic) looks like the hardest lie I've seen yet in the tourney.

Along with the green speed, it would be great to get your Approach tab stats, for the GIR and Ave. Distance to Pin standings.

Re Gimme's: it's the new feature WGT just introduced last week. It pops up with a teasing suggestion that you can take any putt less than 2 feet and call it a gimme.... but we're not allowing their use in this tourney.

    Cheers, Corwyn

I marked for Neil so he could get his back 9 on RSG completed. He barely had the time to play with getting ready to leave for Scotland so I took all the pics I could and will post for him. He played very solid under the conditions. Neil was 17 feet approach on the 12th hole. I wasn't sure if that's in the running so I took a screen pic anyway. Neil shot a 37 on the back 9. He finished with a very nice up and down for par on 18 that I just couldn't manage myself. Following are all the screen pics I could get to prove we played in UL and with the proper conditions.

    Thanks for marking Cerino!

I've been hoping to get the time to do a proper Leaderboard recap, but have just been slammed. Tomorrow...

Meantime, here is the status on the RSG Special Prizes. Note that I've added highlights to the cells for the front-runners in each category on the Leaderboard: (scroll all the way to the right)

Longest putt made at RSG (ColumbusStorm leads with a staggering 58.7 foot putt)

Greatest improvement relative to par from R1 to R2 (current leader is BogieZed with 12 strokes better, who just pipped OeJ's 11 stroke improvement)

Any Eagle at RSG: (none so far, I believe...)

CTTH competition at #12: Post screenshot showing closest-to-the-hole location after your 2nd shot on this hole, and replay links would be great too. (oneeyedjohn in the lead with 6.6ft)

Longest drive hit at RSG(JayO92 had a 257.21 yard drive on #7)
