You're actually taking WGTs word for it??? They've proven time and time again that they and their numbers cannot be trusted.

Even if it is accurate, it's not that many when you consider the number of people that hit the site over the course of the week and it's a new item that people were testing to see if it's worth the cost. I would also hazard a guess that usage will drop off dramatically.

Ya know...I think it will still be used quite a bit...mainly with starter balls..practicing UEL's...sure, distance will be off, but set up a round with low winds and watch how the ball flies on different lies...over and over again

^ Yeppers. I'm loving the Mulligans. I play a lot of practice rounds with my good sticks and the free ball in UL anyway so the Mulligans have come in real handy learning some of the finer points of Olympic and Merion. With the starter gear it's really helpful and a real benefit.

Note to WGT, you give the people what they asked for and they complain about it anyway. Listen to me instead, I don't complain.  ;)

Cerino- no one's complaining about the mulligans themselves. The complaints have been about the price and the manner in which it is collected.

Thing is...price is the same as trying the shot again...

    Okay..

    ON FW 136 out...hit approach...lands in rough...

Hmmn, ya think, would like to try that again../...so you reverse view...figure out "about" where you were...and whack it back..

Now" (n the general area) you take another whack at it...

    Add'em up

    1st try 1 hit

2nd shot to "general area"..2nd hit

    3rd shot to "retry"..3 hits

    Compare to:

    Hit and miss

Mulligan -2 hits from exact spot

    net result of each?

3 hits on the ball...with Mulligan must faster, and you are in the exact spot you were before.

I lost more ball hits hitting backwards shots OOB than I'll ever spend in mulligans.
