    MB- Add 'em up.

    Hit the ball- 1 hit.

    Declare a mulligan

Hit the ball again- 2nd hit.

Hits should be taken off the ball only as many times as a club actually strikes the ball.

Plus, WGT has now introduced variable pricing for an item, opening the doors to variable pricing on other items for any reason they feel like. Mulligans now cost anywhere from free to about 4 credits each depending on what type of ball is being used. The price of a mulligan should be a fixed price like everything else on this site. They should be sold like Putter Pals, Shot Pals, clubs or balls. A mulligan with one ball shouldn't cost more or less than a mulligan with another ball.

Don't know about the variable pricing (will see what I can find)

    But...

3 hits to a green would be normal ball wear...right...

    Hit

    Hit back

    Hit

    3 hits...

    Muligan

    Hit

    Mulli

    Hit

    3 hits

What am I missing here?  (not tried it yet, just going by whats reported)

I always heard "Mulligan" in golf meant "hitting 3". ... or was that "Provisional".

Either way, I don't have a problem with that extra stroke.  It sure saved me a ton of time getting my new RocketBladez dialed in!

I shot a practice round on St. Andrews and took one mulligan after my tee shot went in the rough on #9. Shot a 27 .... hit the ball experience showed only 28. So I think the mulligan indeed only takes one extra hit. I'm thinking the -2 shows on the indicator just to show you it's your second hit. First hit shows nothing, second hit -2. If my theory holds true, then a second mulligan should show a -3.

Gonna go check that out. Be right back...

Test finished ... Kiawah #1 ... took 3 mulligan tee shots back to back and each time, the counter showed -2. So I was wrong about the counter anyway.... carry on ... :-)

Not surprised at all, because thsi game has never been so shite as lately, so i just bought 100.000 WTF's which would last me for the next two weeks.

So everyone is going back to the practice board trying to figure out what the heck WGT has done this time to the game. Sadly i guess the deviations are random and simply cant be practiced

Do I sound pissed off a bit? lol, a bit

Nuttin', Honey, Srellim is just taking up the banner for a commercial enterprise having the audacity to charge for goods and services, virtual or otherwise.

Relative cost of a mulligan with the cheapest Callaway ball is about 0.69 credits per hit so each mulligan is going to cost a little over 2 credits with a decent ball. Zippo with the freebies.  :-)

    *Ball hit source.

I have the audacity to suggest that a commercial enterprise charge the same price to each person for the same product. A mulligan is the same whether it's with the free ball or the Max ball.

If they were charging 1, 2, 15, 100 credits per mulligan to everyone, that's their business.I'm fine with whatever they want to charge if it's the same charge for everyone for an item that performs the same way for everyone. I've never complained about high prices like many around here; the only actual pricing suggestion I've ever  made here is a suggestion that they offer a quantity discount on balls.

It sounds like you are perfectly ok, though, with WGT charging you an extra  $1 per sleeve for your Callaways because you own the level 90 iron set instead of only the starter set. After all, the balls may be the same for everyone but you should spend more for the balls because you spent more for your iron set.

That's what WGT is doing with the mulligans.

Not fine with me.  I like the way they have it set up now.

Not OK with me if WGT decided to charge me more for Callys because I have L90 irons.
