New hole placements on Merion 5, 7 an even bigger JOKE!

Me again. And again I'm pissed off at where WGT have put some of these holes. I've seen flatter water slides than this! There was an entire green for you to work with and instead you chose the biggest slopes on the green to cut the hole on... have you even read the USGA guidelines!?

Dammit guys, tournament+ speed greens are bad enough already without resorting to cheap tricks like this...

I think the new pins are all fairer and a tad easier.

Numbers 5, 7, 10, and 12 are absolutely not easier ... the 18th is just as difficult as the original pin. As to fair .... I concur with courteney .... they are the same for everyone. Any pin set up ...

5 is far, far easier, in my opinion.

5 is now an easy par from the legend tee. Just leave your approach below the hole

12 can now be birdied. Was a tough birdie before with the far back hole location.

7 is still a birdie hole. You're hitting a lob wedge there.

I do understand that it's the same for everybody, I just don't like the idea of several holes being cut into the side of the mountain when the USGA itself tries to avoid this sort of thing as much as humanly possible. Is it a problem with Merion's greens being too sloped in general that causes this problem with hole locations to happen?
