LOL @ USGA Giftcard

  So i received my $25 giftcard for qualifying in the 2013 VUSO today

  I place an order for a cap worth 19,95. But after USGA shop site re directed me to the international shipping partner Bongous and the calculated price was.........

  Subtotal:	$ 19.95
  Shipping:	$ 55.76
  Duty / Tax / Processing:	$ 19.40
  Order Total:	$ 95.11

  Lol rly wgt you should have been better informed, whats the point to this price for European players and BTW 55.76 shipping costs for a hat?... rly? Next year just award some balls or a wgt shop gift card. This is just silly. Any us players interested in my gift card? Maybe i just set up a quiz or something

  Received mine yest also. Got all excited when I seen the USGA envelope, as I thought I was gettin a handsome reward for finishing 3rd at the VUSO. As it turned out it was pretty worthless.

  Maybe all us European players should throw all our 25 $ gift cards into a hat and raffle them off to 1 lucky winner..as for now, mine is close to going into the bin :)

  got mine also an when i got to the USGA site to check out what i could get pretty much nothing what a joke could have atleast made it where we could use it on this game also for balls or somthing like other gift cards...

  I m yet to receive mine, i shifted from NY to Ohio in January and changed my address on this game, i send WGT a message asking why didnt i recieved mine and i got nothing from em yet.

  Send another complaint about a shot from game screen didnt got any replies, way to go WGT.

  Took a quick look at the cost to ship 1 lb of clothing from California to Amsterdam via FedX...85 and change.

   

  Excessive yes, but I don't believe anything can be done about it.

  a good idea steve,because in truth its worthless,nobody is paying those delivery costs.

  or maybe a KO tornie between Europeans.....winner takes all,at least you could get something worth buying....not sure the winner would like to give out his home address mind?

  wow, that's pretty steep.

  the problem is, they likely outsource shipping and shipping company ships via means they chose to make sure they deliver.

  if I was shipping personal item, i'd stick it in a bubble mailer and likely cost me $5-10 for a hat. but, when you ship as a business, there are rules you have to follow and tracking to have so when customer says they didn't get it, they can check the tracking.
