TWOMINUSONE: but send it to a friend on here who lives in the US. They could then send it on to you. Im not sure if its cheaper to do it that way, but maybe worth looking into?
Great idea TMO.
I just spent my lunch hour down in our Shipping Department. I grabbed a baseball cap from someone, threw it in a box (came to less than 1lb) and tossed it on the scale of the postage machine. Told the operator that I wanted to send it to Geneva, Switzerland and another to London, England. Told him I wanted it sent International First Class.
Here are the results (cost)-
Geneva- $12.75
London- $12.75
I think TMO might be onto something. Maybe we can work something out.
Your thoughts?

Edit- there may be a "duty tax" on your end when you pick it up from your Post Office.
