The latest maintenance - a Question to WGT

  I understand exactly what your saying 1 eye m8, I myself have my own site, and wouldn't for the life of me release an update, code change of any sort without it first being tested, and I'm not talking on a scale of site as WGT is.

  Bugs are curious things, no matter how much you test, no matter how many bugs you find, there is always one more.

  Then you minimise this by not releasing till you yourself have none, no decent site releases updates with even the slightest known bug.

  No coder worth his/her salt would even allow this I'm afraid.

  PS. They themselves emphasise this by removing BETA from the title.

  Not sure if chimps were hired to handle the last maintainance issue, but this AM, Saturday, loading anything related to actively playing a round, won't load without at least a couple timeout exceptions appearing and clicking yes to continue.  Yes I clear my cookies and cache, and even restarted the PC, and ran scans this morning after original problems.

   

  Maybe WGT could set up some wind turbines to harness the new unpleasant and annoying wind sounds they've created.  Another way to get some extra cash for improvement in loading times, would be to capture or kill all the little birdies squaking about since the last changes.  Seems in some of the poorer nations folks would appreciate a nice meal of Squab, and those annoying sounds would eventually disappear. Whatever it takes please try and do something that works next time you fellas shut down for site maintainance.

  Dazza, the whole game play is shite, slow and retarded, disconnections for no reason, the browser collapsing, and like above the putting meter speeds up close to the ding.

  I have never ever had meter issues in over 2 years, but now I do in both CD and Maxthon.

  The game is fooked.

  I like the look of Battlefield 4

  Nor here...was only thinking y/day how smooth everything is.......not a stutter for days.

  [ maybe I shouldn't have said that just before 1st game of day ?......Sod's Law and all that.. :-) }

  In the past 3 months I have had the problem with the meter speed on the downswing shoots past the ding mark by a long ways. It seems to happen only once in awhile and usually on a critical tee shot or long second shot so that good chance ball goes out of bounds. I am pretty certain it has nothing do with the cache, browser but totally WGT.

  How's A/S matches going for you guys, when I try to join a match, it takes forever for the search engine to find players, timing out constantly. Even when I see numerous friends online and green, wgt just ignores them. This problem is getting worse every day, I guess wgt is not interested in allowing its members to play A/S, they probably don't make enough money from it. Really funny, I never have any problems with regular tourneys, only multi player comps.

  Next update,  wgt would you try to fix A/S player search. If you could fix that 1 thing, it would be much much better than anything you have done with the last half dozen updates.
