RG players and winds...what ya think????

  The great thing about this is it wouldn't matter if somebody was a multi, or was tipped off by another player.  The information would be out there for everybody.  Even better, players who pay attention to wind direction could use their knowledge and experience to benefit.

  Here is why q. why does it bother you guys if you get all head winds? Except for not reaching 5's (you got me there), why would someone want 20tail wind on a par 3?:)

  I would rather have head wind, club or or two and then hit it and stick it.

  Exactly....I have a question for you. 

  Why do i get tail winds on every par 3?

  And....headwind on all par 5's?

  And.......it does bother me when i get all headwinds and other players do not.

  See where i'm going here??

  lol....  must admit this is very funny stuff.  Hey,, why just don't make it fair, so then we won't be bothered.

  Waiting on the next excuse........     :)

  Still wondering why WGT will not come clean on this issue?? Read my earlier post on page one, i think i nail it on the head.

  Icon...let me give you a few examples...

   

  Heavy wind, SA back nine..on 17 .you get tail, I get headwind...my 3 wood just won't ive me much of a birdy chance, unless I drain some wild azzed putt or hole it out, but your full back 8 iron will give you the opportunity to stick and trickle close.

  Let's take a less extreme example..CCC#1...even moderate winds...tail wind off the tee leaves me a Cleveland wedge to the hole...head wind leaves me an R11...PW or 9 iron..

   

  Advantage--Cleveland wedge..even with a mis hit is way more forgiving than a R11 iron is.

  Suppose we set up a game, you and I...where I get to hit from TM tees and you hit from the tips.

   

  Who would have the advantage and why?

  Because I hit driver wedge and you have to hit driver 7 iron...you don't think I'd have an advantage?

   

  Equate that to you hitting tail winds on par 4's, and me hitting into head winds...

   

  PS...par 3's no issue as hitting 3 wood, driver or long/mid iron makes no difference from the tips.

  I'm convinced we have a programmer issue Mike. What Icon is saying makes no sense at all.

  Surely i would say that Icon is a bright gent. I think he is telling us what he was told too.

  Players getting different wind directions in the same tourney is unfair, and the playing field is not level. Surely Icon can see that,,  if not i take my last statement back..lol.

  Still can't see the excuses......just make it happen..period,,,end of discussion.

  But........then this is WGT, where nothing that makes sense gets implemented.

  ;)

  Edit:  I am very curious of the work force WGT has a the moment. I don't think its that good at this present time. I would even say that they most likely are using sub contractors.

  I'm not banging on WGT-so to speak-...I'd just started playing (and really wasn't aware of what players were talking about then) when the new tiers were brought out...wow the "you TM's get to hit from short tees"...etc...well, same thing applies in heavy wind tourneys...from the same tees.

   

  For the most part WGT has taken care of the issue between TM's and Legends playing in a RG...as if a TM starts cleaning up, they become a Legend and now hit from the tips...so yes in that regard, the field will eventually become level.

   

  I guess the best example I could give to Icon, would be play the Best of par 5 course(moderate/heavy) into the wind on every hole, and then again with the wind on every hole...if he put's up 15 Eagles on each round...I'll just STFU! ;)

  Sorry, but i can not and will not listen to that BS!!!!

  And....that my friend is BS,, nothing new though. That is the way this company rolls mate.

  BS for days.......   lmao!      And daddy is not buying any of it!

  Might need to try and past that off on some of our uneducated members.  :))

   

  I'm almost certain the next excuse will be here shortly..........lol.

  Really the more excuses they come up with Mike, the better it makes them look.

  Which i might add is not very good at the moment, and getting worst every excuse they make. Keep them coming...lol.

  For some strange reason i got the feeling won't see anymore excuses in this thread.
