    bluzgolf:

FWIW, I'm a miss-ding putter.  My observation is it goes where aimed.  If you miss the ding by a certain amount, the putt will follow that missed line with high precision.  That is what I personally want in a putter.

    Agree.

I'm a miss-ding putter as well and (although I just have a 70) it does precisely what I want it to.  It was arguably my best purchase, as I upgraded from Rossa and went from a long of just under 60 feet to making a number of putts over 90.  As slow as the bar is, if you know just how to bar-aim and read the breaks, it'll save your life.

Just bought it after I got home from work/school.  Not with surveys this time either...  missed out on two rounds of real golf this past weekend and justified it that way lol.

    Loving it!

the extra precision is noticeable, and the only thing it will do is help me read putts better.  No more miss ding and hope I missed enough.  Saved some pretty long pars and bogies, not to forget some nice birds in the few rounds thus far.

You should recall all of those birds...as they happen so infrequently;)

    Getting back to the putter...

I just wanted to point out that the meter speed doesn't seem any faster at all than the L70 Versa.

Do I or don't I?,,,just turned level 96 today and really debating on whether the 96 versa will be an advantage over my 77 Nike,I rented the older versa a few months ago and it seemed to have a slower meter speed than my Nike, which I liked ,,,,also have noticed at times the ball seems to jump off the Nike putter head to the left or right of the intended putter line inside 20ft putts even when I ding the putt, the difference in the distance increments won't be hard to adjust to as I usually use my 20ft or 50ft scale for most of my putts anyway.......going to have to keep an eye on comments here for awhile from you players who have purchased the 96Versa to make sure switching and spending that kinda cash will be worth it in the long run .....
