My thoughts are, if you have extra credits what the heck.  If not, I'd wait for a "free" rental weekend and see if it's your cup o tea.  That way you could rent both the level 96 Versa and the level 94 Nike and see if you prefer either over what you already have.

I have both putter the level 70 versa since long time  and  level 96 since one level

I try some games with the  level 96 and return to the level 70 and since i have a level 96 versa in my bag for nothing lol

    I explain why :

I have no doubt the level 96 putter is more precise, more accurate than the level 70,  but the metter is  slighly quicker and i miss so many ding.

I think the level 96 versa is more for  the ding player.

I would like to hit more ding  and give another chance  to that putter but maybe my brain is not as accurate as the level 96 versa lol

use it, you can off ding with it, at least I do on big breaks..I had the 70 your just used to all those BS rolls you get with the 70 that go away with 96...get used to it and you will love it...only problem is dead straight putts from 6-10ft, it is so accurate you better ding it on them...should be 2-3 dots better across the board than the 70 IMO.

I didn't even notice a difference in the meter, is it faster?

Yes, inside 10 feets i miss dings and  some putts i'll never miss with the level 70 i miss from that distance with the level 96. You are right the level 96 is so accurate.

Yes the speed is  little bit faster too, and on shop i see 4,5 dots  for the 96 and 5 dots on the metter  speed for the 70.

I just got it and it really holds the line, great balance. I still have the g. spider because I like the off ding results w/ that one w/ less forgiveness or whatever.

The top players seem to prefer the V but a few have the Nike M just because of the increment scale. I may end up getting the NM for that reason in the future, too.

Too all of you who have the 96 versa , I hate you each and every one . :-)  I am trying to get up the credits to get it myself . I want it so bad , that I can taste it . Played with it during the last rental and yes it is very sweet . But its ok I hope that you miss every putt that you need . Now if you will excuse me , I have to go and renew my rental .:-)

I am not, nor have I ever been a great putter. Over time I've owned and used the Redwood, Daytona, and a couple others. Each one was an improvement, and worthy. I landed upon the L-70 and slowly became aware of it's superior nature. It is a wonderful and impressive performer. Fact. The L-96 was in my mind but seemed to not offer much more than the L-70 for the $40 scoots. I dilly-dallyed, but I bit. At this upper range, miracles are quite dear. The L-96 is, as a matter of fact, better than the L-70. How much better ? Very little. But better. For me. ~ SP ~
