  It is a knee jerk reaction which was burned into my brain while being verbally abused all my life.

  Like how? I mean things like "Why don't you ^%#%^ get a job and move out of the *^#@#$ basement you %#^^@*& your almost 40", would be more of a suggestion(and a d@mn good one at that) than abuse.....

  only my opinion but I think that flag with red white and blue with little stars on removes brain cells
