Interesting development at 2,995 credits for this 125 -220 set.

It will be interesting to see how this compares to the Lvl 79+ RocketBladez set

They are either the same as RocketBladez or, if their trajectory is like R11, better.

In the latter case they could become a competitor for R11, at least for those people to whom the latter's fast meter is an issue.

It would be nice that somebody who bought them would comment regarding the trajectory.

i am very dissapointed to see the NEW iron set after a very long time with not more impressive features.((   i feel wgt shd launch yet another version of speedblade offering good features....like new versa96+ putter.

they can introduce it at lvl 92+ ...like that something...with 5dot precision...4 forgiveness and 1 dot shot shaping and  4 dot spin...with price even 4995cr.i will surely buy.

hope wgt does it very soon!!!

WGT would surely LOVE to replace all those R11 iron sets held by most of top players that haven't been changed for a while, so they may well do something similar (e.g. by adding half dot precision and forgiveness to these SpeedBlades, provided they have R11 trajectory).

Not that there is anything those top players would gain from that... (or anyone else for that matter) And it would make these already ridiculously low scores (heck, in BPB Legend 1000 from the tips a 59 LOSES money) even more ridiculously low...

I asked a mod directly and silence so far...Only the pro shop specs to go by.

EDIT: I do not agree with this policy.  If I went to the Taylor Made website I would get the spiel of course.  If I went to a good pro shop I would expect some better advice, and be able to take them to the range to try them before I bought at no extra charge.  IRL there would also be a plethora of AB comparisons and so on.  WGT could go a good way to solving all this by changing the rental conditions to work with the customer a bit more as discussed elsewhere quite a bit.

True, specs are exactly the same. Only the difference seems to be the price lol What is going on wgt ?

I'm tempted to rent these. The Bladez are ok, but they're a bit bi-polar for me. One round they are fairly forgiving and accurate, and the next round I can't hit the broad side of a barn with them. I just went on an 11 hole stretch without a single birdie. It could've been the update, but the Bladez were a country mile off the whole time.

As far as the dots go, in my limited experience here, they don't mean much. The 2.5 dot forgiveness G20s are worlds more forgiving(and consistent) than the 2.5 dot Bladez. If the Speedblades have the G20's 2.5 dots of forgiveness, coupled with the spin and trajectory of the Bladez...well I'll happily buy them.

It is curious that they have the same attributes on paper though. Seems kinda dumb if you ask me. I would have given them 4/2.5/3 so they aren't quite as good as the Bladez, but better than the L59 G20's.

    +1.
Give us a free 1 hour rental or something for chrissakes WGT! You won't lose a penny from it and more people will buy them..even if they aren't any good(some will just have a lucky round and attribute it to the rentals)
