Based off DDRoss and Bluey403's comments, I decided to go ahead and buy these. I played Bethpage B9 as it has a good mix of elevation and flat approaches.
First impressions: they appear to be superior to the L79 Bladez. They are definitely more forgiving. My very first approach at #10, a 204 yd 4 iron, I was a smidge early(meter may be slightly slower than the Bladez) and cringed thinking the shot would react as it would with the Bladez and go about 6-7 yards off line. Nope. Inside 8 feet.
Same thing happened at #12. Millimeter ding miss, which for a 220 yard shot usually results in being at least 4-5 yards wide of target with the Bladez. Nope. Stopped 5 feet away, on the opposite side of the miss. So nevermind the 2.5 dot forgivness. I would bump that up to 3, maybe 3.5.
On precision: No surprises. Very accurate. The 3-4 dings all ended up right at the stick. I haven't worked out distances quite yet, obviously, so I was a bit long or short of a couple of the shots.
Trajectory and spin. They're sticky! Stopping power is at least as good as the Bladez, possibly better. I used FBS with a 4 iron on #17 and spun it back about 6-8 feet with my Nike ball.
Meter: seems slower than the Bladez but that may just be me.
Distances: same as the Bladez. 220/205/190/175/160/145/135/125.
Overall I'm pretty excited to have these in my bag going forward. The Bladez just never performed consistently for me
Oh and here is a replay for 2DAMFLASHY.
