Looks like identical irons to me, with a bit of different winds(elevation included ) , these are identical shots Fatdan.  You use nike ball and Gamers were with callaways. same spin, but more distance on yours ball.

The only difference is the price , this is ment for low level legends that don't want to wait for level 79.

description of the irons fooled people into thinking they are different, same thing with the callaway balls. Same same but different names.

I am using the nikes today to practice...I usually use the slow meter Calloway, less distance and spin, those results were with the calloway ball...I should have mentioned that...

You guys comparing the shots realize you have to take the average of about 5-10 of the same shots, at least, before settling on an average figure? That said, I did notice the SpeedBlades to be a tiny bit shorter than the Bladez as I've been consistently 1-4 yards short using my old yardages. Easy enough to fix.

Though I was victimized by VEM at least 3 times on my last 9, I still find the new blades stickier and more forgiving, but maybe I'm seeing what I want to see. Only WGT knows what, if any, differences there are between the sets. It sucks that all they give us is the near worthless dot-rating system.

ok....wellllll, I don't know about him buuuuuutttt, I play those holes over and over and over and ding it like 9 out of 10 when I want to with the slow meter ball, then I replay the shots from different angles if they are good or really bad to see why when I'm practicing....i have played #10 11 12 at CCC at least 50 times because I suck on those holes and it ticks me off...before that it was BBB and before that Oak...so I posted because I know exactly how far my clubs go on the holes he mentioned, otherwise I wouldn't have posted anything as I usually do, or is that don't, or don't do...LOL

I hear ya Dan. That's why I got impatient with the Bladez. After wasting sleeves and sleeves of Nikes meticulously dialing in yardages with different spin levels/wind etc, I still cannot even figure out what the distances are within 3-4 yards. I got CG wedges and the G20 3W figured down to a single yard...but the Bladez surprise me like half(!) the time. I don't like surprises.

what I have noticed playing a lot of holes with no wind to get a distance is the rocketbladez short irons(7-pw) are more accurate with a wind...w/o wind they are 4-8 ft left/right/long/short on dinged hits...w/ a wind it is just long and short lol, I don't like them...now my long irons are dead on....a lot it might be the distances are off, especially at Kiwiah....

The Rocket Bladez are better than the Speed Blades. I have had the Rockets for a couple hundred hours and I decided to rent the Speed Blades. It is my opinion they are not as accurate or consistent as the Rockets. The meter speed is actually a slight bit faster than the Bladez. The forgiveness is not as good as the Rockets either. The stoping power and trajectory are no better and possibly as good as the Rockets. Level 79 Rockets get my vote over the new Speed Blades. They do come four levels sooner. The wait is worth it. I prefer the Rockets over the R11's also...just to fast...and I do not want or plan to use five dollar balls to play with R11's. Rocket Bladez are a superior club to take you as far as you want to go with out the costs of balls to off set the lightning fast R11Irons meter.

Weird. I have had the exact opposite experience and I'd almost swear that the meter is slower on the SpeedBlades. With VEM and "normal" variance, it's extremely difficult to gauge a set after one or two rounds. After dozens of rounds with both sets, I think the SpeedBlades are better, by a good margin.

There has been one measurable difference since I switched to the SpeedBlades...well two actually. 1) distance to pin, which had been stuck on 13' since my K15 days as a Tour Pro finally decreased to 12' and most importantly... 2) my scoring average has been steadily dropping(average is not saturated so it's an actual average).

I wonder if I'll even consider changing to the R11s when I get there..

Neil.. when you get there mate you want the R11s trust me.

The faster meter you will get used to and the R11s are far more forgiving. Don't get me wrong i play with the slow meter ball, but not because of the irons meter speed.

I love the slow meter ball for putting. Before they came out with it i was playing the level 33 Cally ball and not having any problems at all. This damn slow meter ball though for putting is addicting i hate to say it... lol.

The big thing in my opinion is the R11 3 iron. This thing is worth its weight in gold. Par 3's that you thought were hard,,, just became birdies. This thing will smack a ball over 240 yards off the tee, and sometime back up..lol. Depending on hole this club from back tee and having plenty wind.... i can't see not having it.

Some legends even tour legend still like the Rockets.... but the R11s have the advantage without any doubt. Fly high... stop on a dime. With Nike ball..... dangerous..hehe.
