kia hole 2 hard sand

  has the physics of the sand changed here?

  normally when i fook my drive and it goes into hard sand its easy to get out and over the weed creek.

  now i can ding it in hard sand and it goes either into the lip of the bunker and rolls back or goes 70y then squirts into the weeds and lose a ball.

  whats happened?

  Was just in there by the steps leading out of the sand...seemed normal to me.

  damn mike - ur a lucky one lol

  ive lost 3 balls tryin to get it out the hard sand (10-15) and ive also been near the steps too.

  guess i just got unlucky 3 times lmao

  Had exactly the same thing happen last week, same hole.  In hard sand, I usually hit the 3i aiming for left of the bunkers to hit the fairway and it usually makes that with no issues.  Instead, it only goes 128 yards or so and into the weeds...lost ball.  Never had that happen there before.

  Last I tried that, the 3 iron takes off too low and catches the lip and didn't end well (lost ball) changed to 4 iron and got out fine.

  It surly will do that if you are too close to the bank of sand.  Had that happen as well.  Far enough out and it will reach it easily though, most of the time anyway.
