nothing to do with this but has anyone played round2 at bpb in the winter tour?, I found that the distances were really messed up, wondered if anyone else noticed

The next time you drive at the 2nd hole Bethpage if you replay the shot in reverse view you will see the ball does not go through the trees it goes over the top of them not through the trees.
Many holes in BPB and Congressional have little gaps. To make up for it, I could hit a tree at Oakmont by driving dead center of fairway.
Oh boy. Entered the BPB F9 RG. First hole missed the ding by quarter of a millimetre and missed the green. Second hole off the tree and into the weeds. :(
