cozmozogg: Nobody has replied with an opinion as to their thoughts on being able to see other players' swing meters/spin/aim/club selection.
In real golf, you might know what club they hit, but you'd have no idea what power they hit it at. You'd also have no idea if they'd messed up their aim or not, and while you could say that it'd be nice to have to stop cheaters or whatever, (1) a lot of people are going to accuse anyone that can click better than they can of cheating... that's not going to solve too much... it's going to be the same complaints, and (2) any meter-slowing program would simply allow them to mishit it intentionally, having already moved their target marker in order to compensate for the intentional mishit. It doesn't seem to be an incredibly effective solution. It might stop some of it, but I don't think it would be as effective as you might think.
cozmozogg: I think this would be really cool. Do you think it would be hard to do in terms of development?
No... easy.
cozmozogg: Would it slow things down too much? Just wonderin what you guys think.
Not really, no. It could simply display that information during the animation of the shot... not update every single time the other guy changed what club he was using, trying to figure out if he should go for a 6-iron or a 7-iron... or a full swing, punch, or pitch.
