I recently, yesterday, got a new PC with Windows 7 installed so have lost my trusty Outlook Express.  I tried Live Mail but we have 3 different mail identities and it shows them all on 1 screen which I really don't like, OE did it much better in my opinion.

My question is, does Thunderbird have each identity in it's own window or are all identities on 1?

Or can anyone recommend a different client?  I figured since Firefox is so good Thunderbird is probably no slouch either.

    Thanks in advance.

A good mail client should allow for rules for incoming mail to sort them to different folders. I suppose that Firefox does this (no experience though).

Instead of getting a new brand, why not buy an Office version from an auction platform? You might need it anyway...

I have heard Thunderbird is pretty good, but as I have not used it can't say whether it can take multiple email users.

Personally I think Windows Live is a piece of crap and OE was much better.

So I use Outlook in MS Office 2010 professional so Alosso's advice is prudent, provided you can justify the cost.. Seems a fair expense however just for email.

On the bright side, i am jealous - my new laptop has windows 8.1  urghhh
