May I suggest you add Hazeltine National?

You can suggest whatever you like, but WGT won't listen to you.  One course a year, that is all you get.  And no, pitch and putt par 3's are not a true course.

Hazetine is, not so much, considered among the "Great", known venues.

Ovaltine, however, is considered by some, a great drink ... lol ...

Just kidding Lily ... couldn't resist it.

Merion and done!! Oh but wait until next year! They will replace the golf carts with a clown car and install new windmills for the par three courses they add!

I know it's tough (and pricey) for them to get the "rights" to use these courses....but I really wouldn't mind them designing some fictional courses..SURELY there are some designers out there who can come up with some fun places to play....especially if that gives us more than one a year...

That is true, albeit little known in many circles...they say that once a Libertine drinks Ovaltine, Hazeltine is the only object to be considered truly keen.

It would be great to bring Hazeltine aboard in 2016, when it has the Ryder Cup while the USGA revisits Oakmont for the US Open.  It's not a legendary track or a stunning young beauty, but it is certainly a full-fledged test of championship golf.

The membership expects the course to be unavailable from time to time, and not just for majors - they host the local public high school team.  It's probably not among the 10 snootiest clubs in the Twin Cities, an area that isn't exactly known for such things.  It's all about the golf there.

    Definitely worth a shot.
