    G'Day All.

Thinking to just get a new driver for now. Thinking the G20 L58 or RBZ L69. Precision over forgiveness or forgiveness over precision? Distance or trajectory?

    Interested to know your thoughts.

Why waste the credits ? You are a level 65 Master , and have been playing since 2009 . Its quite evident , that you arent trying to become a better player . So why waste the credits , or the money , on new clubs ? Just wondering .

Helpful??? You have nothing to say about the two drivers in question?

Master at level 65 seems quite regular to me, and some interrupt playing for personal or job reasons...

Furtheron it doesn't look like your business when others change their minds or what they "waste" or not. He has shown his interest when opening the thread - mind reading from page 1?

    Have a nice day.

Ping G20 lvl 58 is a good driver, have had it a long time. A little bit less powerfull than equivalent TM mainly in headwind but nothing dramatical (4-5 yrds behind). Anyway you reach the fairway all time except when you miss a lot the ding.

Actually , I did read the opening thread , which is why , I said what I said . The clubs that they have , will do them well for where they are . Further more , it seem s that you too , need to mind your business , since my comment was not to you . So I stand by what I said , and if you dont like it , you know what you can kiss. Now run and tell that.

It depends on which driver you have now and if it will get you to all fairways within a reasonable length from the green. I have the G20 L81 driver and its a great club. I had the L58 also which worked well too. Unfortunately as you move up just about every club except maybe wedges become obsolete. Now that I've hit Legend my driver is almost obsolete from the tees they put me on. I'm hitting 3 woods into par 4's that used to be a 5 to 7 iron depending on wind. I guess what I'm saying is if your driver works out now hold off until you get to a higher level then buy. An example of a whole that is almost unplayable for Legend is #17 St Andrews at 515 yards. If the wind is over 10mph I can't clear the wall aiming down the middle. The cursor sets up to the left and the ball goes in the rough at 250+ to the hole. Impossible to even score a par with back left hole position. BTW as this game is billed as most realistic, this tee position does not even exit on the real Old Course. I'm sure there are other examples but you get the drift, i.e., there will always be some holes that have been made unrealistic and total BS. Just FYI

I have no need to tell - you expose your personality to the world all by yourself.

Nevertheless, free speech to you, and me, in peace.

Now that's constructive spirit - thank you.

    Hey Lonniescott.

Thanks for your post. I started playing in 2009 and played a lot, mainly tournaments. I got a little disenchanted the further the tees moved back and took a break for while. Additionally I am self employed and run three language schools with two business partners here in Japan. I work 6 days a week 10-12 hrs a day. Doesn't leave much time for online golf. Additionally I like to devote my precious spare time to my wife, house maintenance, the occasional beer with friends and when the weather is warm a few rounds of actual golf.

In recent times I have been playing WGT more and have been really enjoying it. I have been playing stroke & match games and meeting some great new people along the way. Wish I had played more of these games than the tournaments. I was unaware this game is only for those with a 'professional' attitude like yourself. I have been finding my driver is at times struggling to get to the fairway and making par 4 and 5s quite a bit longer than I would like. In order to improve this for a more enjoyable experience, and perhaps an improvement to my game I thought I might get a longer hitting driver. I have noticed a number of people playing who have starter clubs with the exception of a good name brand driver and putter. Many of them also informed me that they rarely or never play in tournaments. Should I pass on your thoughts about their non committal attitude toward improvement?

I don't want to waste my money or credits so I started this thread to get peoples opinions to help me form a better decision. As of now I have been able to decide to save the money on new irons & wedges for a while and just get a driver. I am thankful to all the good  people who took the time to pass on their opinions concerning the actual subject matter.

    Hope this satisfies your question.

I didn't play any of these, so it's difficult to talk about them. Alas, I followed some threads about club upgrades and of course I wrote there sometimes ;)

To come to the point, experienced players talk about the level 58&83 G20s and about the level 79(!) RBZ but not about the lower RBZ of level 69.

OTOH, 11 levels difference should mean something(?) while 100 credits are next to nothing. From paper form they are mere 5 yds and a few half dots apart, but that doesn't mean much.

Just my 2 Pfennig of pepper in the decision pot ;)
