I would like to suggest a course where all shots are close to the green so players can practice pitches, chips, etc. I think this would be a very useful option to learn the way these different shot options play.

You can play a course or just random 3 holes in practice mode then miss the greens to practice getting up and down. Use the mulligan option as well to repeat shots to hone in on distance. Sometimes I'll hit a flop, pitch and chip from the same spot using mulliganst to see what happens and how the ball rolls out.  I like using the best of par 3 courses mostly because it's quicker to get near greens or hit into bunkers just for practicing shots.

Believe me, you'll become great at all the shots around the greens using practice mode and some of my ideas before WGT will ever offer such an option. We tend to have to find our own solutions.

or play the par 3 courses in practice mode and just don't hit the green. you will get a lot of good practice with chips ,pitches,  flops ,and putting.
