I am a Tour Pro looking for advice on this par 5. I am playing G20 clubs and free WGT balls. Sometimes I birdie this hole, sometimes I par it, but occasionally I can get an eagle. That being said, I am almost always hitting the green in 2. My problem is I cannot hit the 2nd shot close enough to the hole, it always runs past the hole at least 15 yards. I am wondering if I am hitting my drive 250-300, how I should best approach the 2nd shot to have it hit and roll to the hole, not go flying past it by 50-100 feet. From reading others' posts it seems this is a regularly eagleable hole and I feel I could do this if my 2nd shot was closer.

I'm no expert on this hole but you could try aiming for one of the banked areas that I've shaded here to try and kill the balls forward momentum.

Good idea to go and play just that one hole, get the ball in the place where your drive usually ends up and make the most of the mulligan feature.

You can play single holes from the WGT Community menu if you don't know about that feature.

with those clubs and ball from those tees land it close to the front of the green and it will stay right of the hole about 20-25 ft and learn that putt...or buy better balls with more spin.

You will only discover what they are Yancy by holding your triple lobed thorbel meter about six inches from the end of your nose, pointing the aerial towards the nearest volkswagon beetle then wait for the beep, the display will indicate the number of fractal nano splacets to which you must add the number of beans you had at your last meal, post this number to Mr K Kringle and he will vist you shortly with the answer .

Well, I'll be Vemmed ! I I seen these crop circle type thingies on St A' before, buts, usually they  is more brown. Must be the residue from some kinda new intersteller drive unit. I should be there in about ten to have a closer look.

    Doc :)

Update: Just played # 5. Dang them greenskeepers are good! No sign of grey or brown, but , hit to 8 ft. of pin from 51 yds. out and dropped one for bird.

    Doc :)

I am a Tour Pro also jb and I have the same results. I've played that hole dozens of times. All things like wind considered, and the hills near the pin (that sometime make your ball go forward) I have noticed I have to hit 25-30 yrds LESS than normal.

I just finished a tourney single play and I hit it 25yd under normal to get near the pin, and the ball hit those slopes BEFORE the green, which can sometimes stop the ball way short (making an eagle very difficult) but this time the ball hit that hill in 2 places at approx 177 yrds from me then kept going to about 222! This was a PING 3-W (240y club) The putt was approx 60ft! Again, I know better balls & spin etc can solve this, and a 3W can roll a lot, but I'll just keep adjusting and watch the results in the future.

Hole 9 also has what I call 'the untouchable green feature', which some holes on WGT have where it's very hard to get near these pins and you have to make note of what kind of  idiosyncrasies or quirks they possess which cause you to make atypical adjustments to get the best results.

    UPDATE

Here is a REPLAY of a 2nd shot that actually got close for the first time for me, coincidentally right after I wrote this original post. I might delete this replay in the future but I will enjoy this small victory for now.
