If WGT would change pin locations,( say every 30 days, every hole, every course ) this would certainly break the monotony . It would be the cheapest or less expensive way.

Even if they were to do one course each month. Once they were to get the programming set up I would think that they could just alternate  locations periodically.

    PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE

    Well, well, well....

If that is so, it is marvelous to know that sometime this year (and not at the end of the decade when it is/was scheduled)  Pebble Beach is to become an 18 hole strokeplay option on World Golf Tour. That Bardon Dunes and Pinehurst No 2.  will also be added in the coming weeks/months.

    Lovely....

The article linked to above does not say when all 18 holes of Pebble Beach will be available.

It is likely the 2014 Virtual Tour will use the current CTTH version of PB.

It is my understanding Brandon Dunes and Pinehurst #2 will both just be CTTH courses.

Note that Pebble Beach is scheduled to become available as an 18 hole course only when it is again a US Open venue in 2019.

I doubt WGT will spend the several hundred thousand $$$.$$$.00 it costs to take the required 300,000 or so photos, and then spend 6 months converting them into PB as an 18 hole course - this year - just to do it all again in 2019 when the course is in US Open condition.

Yes it would be nice but I think you are somewhat  underestimating the massive task of doing this.

It is like asking for Chad to leave the office early (as usual) on a Friday, shoot a new course and have it ready by the Monday.

Guess you don't read the News then cause I swore I saw WGTWildcat say in the forums and I quote:

"We're excited to announce that Bandon Dunes is coming to WGT early next year, joining our existing championship courses as a free stroke play course.

It will launch as a 9-hole, par-3 stroke play course and you can help choose which holes are included, by voting in the Bandon Dunes survey."

This is true. but what the vast majority of responses in the forums was, we don't want a pitch and putt course. This was at the time of the announcement and has never abated.

Its Bandon Dunes's mix and match of all their par 3 holes, a bit like WGT's best of par 3. So in theory/reality another pitch and putt, not as we all would like a full stroke play course!!
