We know about the limits to such deals, financial, contractual, legal. Therefore, no need to grumble and ask for more - "more icecream!" is a children's demand.

I agree the work behind the scenes to secure the rights and the produce a full stroke play course is a massive undertaking, but disagree that the requests for a full play course is childish.

The forums are the players only avenue to voice concerns and suggestions etc. To me the overwhelming  majority do not want another CTTH course, but want more stroke play courses.

I do not know the operating costs, nor the revenue of WGT, however since the Baseball game came out we have only received one full course per year (excluding Best Of's and pitch and putt). I can only draw one conclusion where the money is going.

But to compound matters, bugs never seem to get fixed and the only improvements we see are equipment releases - that all cost us money.

The  disparity between Stroke Play Courses and CTTH is ever growing, yet surely greater ball use is derived from stroke play.

For me to ht the same amount of ball usage on a CTTH course, I think I would be brain dead from the boredom,  regardless  what course.

Personally I feel WGT has lost direction (or I don't like the direction it has taken) and without a commitment from the company about future  development, I can see a lot of players playing less or giving up.

Agreed. I just missed to make my point clear: It's not adequate to neglect the positives of a new CTTH only crying for a full course.

To each his own ;) It's quick fun, alone or in a Blitz. Maybe it attracts the gamers more than the golfers. And, regarding ball useage, I avoid some of them just because I lose too many balls. Koele gave me another lesson on my very first round to play those watery courses only with cheap or unlimited balls - impossible in a challenge.

I'd like to see more full courses, too, but in their current habit they won't lift the curtain in advance. Obviously, it's more important to surprise the competition than to tie the customers.

True as there are many players who will be please with the release. Personally as a player who seldom plays CTTH or Blitz (maybe 5-6 games a year max) it is a non-entity and I would have preferred the  resources were spent on fixing bugs etc.

LOL - point duly noted and re-iterates my point re ball  usage  :)

True and I have always said, the biggest weakness of the company is their lack of communication. No company should promise more than they can deliver, WGT is no exception, but why the obvious slowdown in full courses? I maintain the coincidence of baseball and only 1 course per annum is glaringly obvious.

As for competition, what competition? This is the only reason why WGT get away with poor customer service, high pricing and lack of respect to what the customer wants. It is called a  monopoly.

All that said, the courses we have a great,  and  it is a great game, but I believe in the pursuit of excellence. So imagine how good this game could be.
