skccvb: Having read this thread a few times- my conclusion is that the constant variable (given ball types are so prevalent) is SPIN.
Then you obviously need to read it a few more times until you read it all properly. Everyone appreciates a FBS high spin ball missed has potential to go off line, and so no one is complaining about that. Infact it was specifically mentioned (look for it) that NO SPIN is needed to get this dinged if ya like.
skccvb: These clubs have the same spin as CG wedges folks. Add a high spin ball- dings are generally awesome (all other things being equal) and misses can be ugly.
How did you measure the RPM generated??? Don't see anyone complaining about any wedges. Per above no one is arguing a missed ing FBS high spin everything will not rip you......................
skccvb: the greater the VEM if not played to perfection- there is always a price for greatness (equipment)
skccvb: the average fiddler would not get a good note out of a Stradivarius. Same time, an accomplished violinist would still need to learn the instrument to get the best from it.
You are doing it, and as you are certainly not (yet anyway) that accomplished blows that analogy apart?
This is a frikin virtual computer game. As your distance to the pin is no better than even mine I fail to see how you think you are the yehudi-menuhin of WGT?
Remember it's also happening with more than the L81 Nike. FYI I earlier played a round and saw none of it.
Either I have suddenly (unlikely) rose to some stratospheric height or it just stopped after the clubs came back, having been off the shelves for a time. Who knows but very good players have seen it with better stats than you (or me)- at least three ball types. All I can do is keep a watching brief.
skccvb: Personally I have not seen it- except where high winds are involved.
Where did you play in these winds out of interest, and what strength??
Most in this thread would have assumed some wind was factored in to any thought's anyway I would wager.
skccvb: The "dings going offline" phenom is another matter.
That's a big part of it yes. We finally agree on something.
