  1. Very interesting but very tough conditions

  2. Buy-in, top 5 pay out

  3. 4 round tourney on freakish conditions

  4. I will join too, but will be excluded from payout.

  5. By entering this tourney, you promise only to have positive thoughts of wgticon (feel free to hate Mr. Shoe though)

  Tournament Link is here: starts  1/13/14 - every 24hrs (48hrs for last round)

  Top 5 payout 50%, 25%, 15%, 5%,,5%

  Each round lasts 23hrs (last 47hrs) - starts 1/13/14 1am PT

  Buy-in 50 credits

  4 x 18 holes:

  Best of par 3's: high winds, faaaaaast greens , even lies

  oakmont, high winds, sssssslow greens, uneven lies

  olympic, high winds, faaaaaaast greens, even lies

  whistler, high winds, ssssslow greens, uneven lies 

  All settings are my own choices, so have fun and wgticon voodoo dolls will be available for sale in the pro shop!

  Don't mean to sound negative here,But is it going to be promoted more this time round.

  Entrants for Something special # 1 = 56

  Entrants for Something special # 2 = 53

  Not quite what you had in mind i'd imagine.

  And yes before you all start having a go at me for withdrawing, The reason is that imo the UEL is still a crock of BS. and completely unrealistic.(ive a good idea who will slate me 1st)

  not yet. we are still working on naming speeds better and perhaps adding winds and such.

  this is not meant to attract 500+ players but something I run as my own special. My hope is word will spread and people have a good time :)

  I played one of these awhile back and it was very interesting, I posted a link on our cc page and some had fun with it, is there any chance of getting a free one again.

  I don't think we see the WD's in Round 1...IIRC, Shoe mentioned 100-something started/entered Round 1.

   

  But that said, maybe longer payouts, like 1-10? or so, might keep more interested in sticking around for all the tourney.

  Here's an idea ... use Stimp Meter readings ... numerical ... like MrWGT mentioned he was thinking of doing about 3 years ago.  

  And thanks for running these Icon ... they are interesting ... but maybe you can get WGT to pony up the 25 bucks worth of credits folks have been kicking in and making it a free tourney.   I'll still play them for 50 cents but ... like most have no expectations of cashing in.   Like all the other tournaments on WGT .. the same folks win all the credits ...

  I think you'll draw a little big bigger crowd if there was no entry fee.
