    renniw52:

I would give both of my sand danglers to have any of my first 4 cars back.

    1. 1960 Impala

    2. 1963 Impala SS 409

    3. 1967 Camaro SS/RS

    4. 1970 Chevelle 454

I lost my '71 El Camino SS 454 in April last year ... completely restored.  Nothing like the 70 Chevelle though.  The El Camino was a bit squirrelly (something you could probably relate to Renn).

My uncle restored a 68 Camaro SS 396 ... nice car!  He now has a completely restored 62 Falcon convertible in his driveway ... little straight 6, but cute!

My Avalanche is an LTZ.  It's a really nice ride.  I still miss the El Camino though!

More of a bike guy myself...as the name would imply...but, in my spare time, I build what Americans call 'Rat Rods/Hot Rods"...this is my current one...put about 3 years of work on this...and I'm going to keep it.  Working on a 70 Camaro now---will be up for sale in about 2 months.

for me it's about the hobby of building/designing/fabricating...for some, it's about buying and driving without the slightest clue how it works...not implying anything towards you alcaucin...but, it's just what I like to do...by the way though...100% agree with you on the Aston ...beautiful cars.

Thanks CD...with the exception of the reupholstery of the seat....I did all of the work myself...the chop, the body mods, motor, paint, etc....takes a lot of time, but, in the end, i really enjoy all the work. Couple of more shots of it....and one of a bike I built from frame up.
