Americans are sound....I love you guys and gals over the pond.  :)

    It's all fun.

Hey, Easy, that one kid did get Mexico right, yeah? OK, so maybe he forgot Canada, but Canada's a state, right? Give credit where due.

But really, back to Jean's original point, we have been on this forever that WGT needs more courses from all over. There must be commercial issues, but jeez, golf-crazed countries like Japan, nowadays, what, Korea and China? There are great courses in Australia, South America and so forth.

Seems to me it would be good to tie it into the international pro golf tours (esp. European Tour). Getting their championship courses up on WGT would improve WGT and actually raise the profile of their own tournaments.

WGT had two of the four majors for a while, but now seems to be back down to 1 of 4 now, but some other championships would themselves be more major than they are if they were also on WGT.

Well, it is rather special considering what we do have. IRL, Kiawah, Beth & Andy's can be played by the public at large, while Olympic, Oakmont, Congressional, Merion & RSG can only be had by members or transient visitors from other private CCs with a gold reciprocity rating. So considering that, perhaps it is more about what, than it is, where.

Sir I think that it is time for your geography lesson. Whistler is in Canada and Cabo is in Mexico - not America

No sir, my geography is very right, Mexico and Canada are in AMERICA, North America for Canada, and North and Central America for Mexico to be very precise, but not in the United States of America, which is a small part of America... This is typical of US people who didn't care so much about precision... Nooooo it's a joke!!!!lol, I don't want to continue this fight... I am very surprised my first post generated so much posts outside its purpose, who is only to claim (even scream!lol)  for new stroke play course, a bit different from the US courses... for me Olympic, Bethpage, Merion, Congressional and soon Pinehurst n2 are the same style, and St George and St Andrews in another style also, I would like others styles, less beautiful, but more affordable for putting and as tactical... like Oakmont and Kiawah... and all the course I listed, plus many more...

That's all my purpose, and I know it can be more difficult for WGT to make them, but I think they didn't look enough with foreign federation to sponsor them (European Golf Tour, Australian, South African and British federation speaks english, it is easy to ask them... And maybe we will have some good surprises...).

    Friendly

Soooo it was a trick post then, I get it, since all people from N.America, S. America, and C. America are ALL Americans, the world consists of Americans, Europeans, Asians, Africans, Australians, and a bunch of scientists working on the Polar caps? I'm cool with that but there are places  South of us I would advise you not to walk around calling everyone Americans...for example 6 paces south of the Mexican/American(as we call it) border! lol

and shouldn't Europeans and Asians all be one or the other since they are on the same continent?

-some people are just too smart to live in the united states of.... :)

anyway - I think we can all blame tiger woods for locking up most of the other courses lol - even if not - gives me another reason to root a bit less for him

No, Europe and Asia are the some geological continent, I agree, but the population is not the same... Which was not the case in America, where all the people from South to North where Indians (or so called) before whitemen exterminate them and took their land before to import black people from Africa to cultivate it... lol, this is history!

man - some people just wanna fight about things no one alive can do anything about.  the new 'progressive' i suppose :(

I mean - as a species - we're consuming the planet as it is - sooner or later we have to come together to simply exist I think -

but anyhow - it's tigers fault - somehow lol :)

And your contention then is North, South and Central Americas Populations are all the same?

I think your school needs proper History books on the United States.

But, I'm sure since what you read and were taught, it must be true!

Heck, you can find it on the Internet!

Yes, I think so... In any case, the population of Americas (south, central and north) is far more homogenous than the population of Europe, and nobody seems to want to talk about South, East, West and North Europe as separate continents...

But I repeat I don't want to fight about that, WGT is not a geopolitic area... My meaning saying that all the new courses where in America is that even Whistler and Cabo del Sol are american (in the meaning of US) style, and I would like to play in other styles than american (US) style or links, who are the only 2 styles now in WGT... AND THAT'S ALL!
