Chinajohn: I don't know why, but I just CANNOT play no wind, I've played a fair few, but I always have numerous (different) problems, everything seems about 10 yards or more inexact.
Do yourself a favor, John, and try the BPB F9 monthly (low wind) with level 33 Callaways or the weekly at Oakmont (no wind.) Commit to playing it strictly to score. By that I mean if you don't birdie the first hole, start over. Same with the second, etc. What happens is because you're restarting immediately you'll find yourself learning different ways to get the shot down.
For instance, the approach on #1 should be 100-120 out. A choked PW with no spin, a fbs full swing or a punch with that same wedge gives you 3 different looks at what it takes-they all work. It's a low wind setup so focus on making sure if you don't ding the shot to miss on the wind side. This is where you'll find the Callaway superior to the Nike because you won't get killed on the deviation.
Setups like these take away the boring part of practice because you're seeing actual tournament conditions and there's no pressure. Repetition goes a long way to learning something and it pays good dividends when you learn and have fun at the same time. Who knows, one of those rounds it will all click and you'll fire off a 25. LOL GL.
*edit-Didn't realize today was new month so you'll have to determine which Legend tournaments are No Wind or Low Wind this month. Heh-everything's Heavy Wind now for me. :-(
