Gee thanks Andy, was a surprise, I just thought it was a very cool thread. I probably breached the "political" rules but hey, it is so true.

Enjoyed reading all the quotes and books. The cars is also interesting and shows how people are loyal to brands - Americans often will only consider buying American (and I personally support this) and Europeans only considering a European car (or by economies a Japanese car lol). Also Europeans could not afford to run a big American car with the price of gas!

And yes I do use the black balls from time to time when I cannot hit a ding to save my life - now if only they had another dot............never mind :))

    Yes maybe read the guidelines:)

My offerings (late as usual but I was unusually for me these days out on a real bender yesterday.  Actually WD from a CC comp.  Don't usually do that in a CC thing especially, but having failed to hit the green 3 times in a row felt best to beat the retreat until I was well enough again LOL........

Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.

    Car:

Understand that Spitfire thing - great little car.

If I could lay my hands on one of these below things, and maybe drop a V something in it wow.  Petrol here is cheaper than the UK, and the car a thing of beauty IMO:

I present one of my all time favourites the Triumph Stag:

Gotta love those spokes to set of the lines:)

    Best book read?

Lots but The Siege of Krishnapur often springs to mind when asked.
