It is virtually impossible to read breaks and wind on KI now.  Impossible.  And so frustrating.  Good luck trying to beat anyone when you are hitting from Legend tees.  So frustrating!

LOL-He did say he hated it. Reminds me of that guy in the defunct World Football League-the one that had "He Hates Me" on his jersey for a name.  :-)

XFL, Jim...  One of Vince McMahon's creations.

Lasted one season (2001)...  guess you really can't script football after all, huh?  =)

LOL-Yeah, that's the guy. I guess he made it to the NFL, too.

Old  Vince did have some interesting takes on the game and it was fun to watch.

I used to really hate Kiawah too. The reason the greens are so hard to read, is because so often the putting grid does not line up with the view. It takes a lot of getting to, especially as the tournament green speed means the ball is affected by the slopes even more than on the slower greens.

I've been playing match plays and getting hammered.  I just don't get it.  I didn't ask for this abuse....these 600 yard par 5's...these ridiculously weird greens...just for being a Legend.

This horrible course reminds me why I should only play Blitz and have occasional forays onto STA when my dingers working. Kiawah is designed to make you angry it seems...

Front Kiawah I don't mind.  Back I hate.  I don't play it often in MP because I won't play anyone but other legends.  Lots of masters ride back 9 Kiawah to tier up to legend because they stink otherwise.

    Wow.

You had to dig deep too dredge up this old 2010 thread.

No doubt Kiawah is a putting challenge. It pays to keep good notes, mental or written. Knowing what part of the green to hit approach shots to is critical. I tend to rely more on the fixed putting grid than the movable Chip, Pitch, Flop grid to read putts on Kiawah.

I think my best score for 18 on Kiawah so far is a 58.
