WGT Tour - Tier improvement??!

  Hey!

  I played the February edition of the WGT Tour as a Legend (tournament greens, slow winds). Now I improved to Tour Legend and see the conditions championship greens, high winds. If I understand it correctly though, I still play in the Legend tier for that tournament until the end of this month. How shall I be able to improve my first round score now or even more importantly be anywhere near the other Legend players in round 2 getting the TL conditions?

  Furthermore, how is the points system planned? Will my Legend points transfer to the Tour Legend ranking next month?

  In my impression the credits of all tournaments in this series will be added to decide the win.

  But I don't understand about the conditions. Are you saying that, in the same February tournament, you've seen different conditions before and after the tier upgrade?

  At least you are still named in the Legend leaderboard, with the latest 56 score.

  You should only be seeing the TL (your current tier) conditions BEFORE you tee off, however when you play your round, the conditions should be the same as the first time you played that tourney (as a legend). At least that's how it was way back, when I played the monthly multi round premium as a TM and tiered up in the middle of it.

  Correct answer to question #1. Thank you! I guess Mr. Beach was happy too early ;-)

  Remaining question is the points system, but in case of doubt, time will tell the answer there!

  1) If you advance tiers in the middle of a specific tournament, you will still be playing from the previous tier's tee boxes. You will not start playing from the Tour Legend tees until you enter the next tournament.

  2) Points earned in a tournament will remain with the player even after advancing to another tier. For you Hanswurst72, the points you earned in the Legend tier will carry over to the Tour Legend tier.

  Which kind of points towards the whole series can be earned in these tournaments?
