WGT Tour - Tier improvement??!

  My guess is the prizes were already paid out when they were shut down. And since we know WGT never erases accounts they close (only prevents the ability to find them through the players search tab, but they can still be reached through the past results page or through their friends lists), both are still in the system with their earnings. So they still show up on the leaderboard.

  I agree for the individual tournaments but not for the season-long Championship. If permanently blocked, they should be eliminated there IMHO.

  But of course we can only guess about their fate.

  Agreed on both counts. I think the system automatically recognizes only "credits" earned and they're simply not bothered to remove their scores/earnings, cause they will soon be surpassed by other players, who will win the following events.

   

  Edit: Just occured to me that the latter isn't correct. From what I've read, if the March pro tier winner tiers up and wins something as a TM in, let's say July, ALL his earnings (points) from this year's tour will count in the TM tier. So there's infact a pretty decent chance these 2 will remain on top. They still won't be able to play the final though, so who cares, lol.

  Interesting spelling with the capital letters mixed in. Same as someone who asked to have their account closed all of a sudden today.

  Right. But some will win the November tourney as a Pro and be counted with this as a Pro. The Pro tier Championship may only become empty if all winning Pros of November tier up and would then play in the Tour Pros' Championship.

  One downside with these blocked guys will be that they may take away other players' seats in the Championship.

  Lol, it seems they gave RoarE a reprieve, cause he's back. You on the other hand seem to be terminated for good, at least under the slillico ID.
