also, it could be a fishing trip to find folks who flip flags for dishonest gains.  like a mole hunt from Mission Impossible :) - never tried it but see it all the time - if it's not possible as I think I just read above, perhaps a trace signal is sent at the mere attempt?

    take caution

Well I threw caution to the wind and played it anyway. I like to put the cat among the pigeons.... :-)

One thing that hasn't been mentioned in regard to this tourney is that you also get a free Nike RZN ball when you enter.

It's the Nike Covert 2.0 Distance Challenge celebrating the new Nike Covert 2.0 Driver. Each player who enters will receive a free virtual Nike RZN ball.

From what I can see in the Pro shop, the RZN's start at lvl60, and as this tourney is open to all tiers does this mean that they are giving lvl60 balls to players that are below that level?

ETA: I just had a look at the leaderboard and to answer my own question it would appear that WGT is now giving out balls to players who's level does not qualify them for. The current leader in the Amateurs is a lvl29 Pro and his/her equipped ball is a Nike 20XI-X RZN lvl61 ball. On that basis, I am a lvl92 Legend so will WGT let me purchase the lvl98 R1 please?

Dicks has been around since like the 1950's, a Fortune 500 Company, and one of the biggest sporting goods outlets in the world....they also own Golf Galaxy.

Just checked out the galaxy web site...  can only order things in the US.  Dicks was US and Canada...  why are the Canadians not allowed to Enter.

It will be interesting if people will change their Flags.  For the Old timers we would know. who thay are...lol.   I'm not fussed if they do....  ya safe with me.

So damn frustrating for a credit comp...  for US residents.  ( No offence to anybody over there)

Yes Aussies, and in fact, the rest of the world are once again excluded.

However in  defense  of WGT, this is possibly a stipulation of the sponsoring company. They want to  maximize  sales for the markets they sell to. Sadly sending large items to  foreign  destinations is time consuming for their dispatch and costly to ship via reputable channels. Yes this cost is borne by the purchaser, however the level of this cost is usually prohibitive so results in very few sales.

What WGT should be trying to do is approach companies in other countries to gain sponsorship for local tournaments. The problem is WGT is essentially a US company and simply do not have the feet on the ground or resources to do so. So once again the rest of the world miss out as usual.

Maybe the World part of the games name should be dropped.

I'm a courier in Australia....   delivering parcels to people from Fedex, Dhl and Ups.... They are the main ones....  People are getting parcels from the US in 3 days over here now at a very small delivery price.   It's cheaper for us to buy things overseas over the Net than to walk down the street and buy something in Australia.

It's a sponsors comp...  but no excuse Wgt with this one.

Even if this is true, are these US companies aware that people from the ROTW do actually go to the US, and may even visit some of the stores there!?!
