  Hi

  I think the greens on Merion have there own lives!!    Played just another round, a 62

  but my overall avg distance to pin was 6 ft.  So many puts where I simply can't get the

  right speed versus the break!!!

  And also I find on Merion that the wind hasn't got much effect,  sliggtest mistake on

  ding and you are OFF LINE...    And yes I know about the trees.

  A little frustrated, but live goes on!

  Just had to write it down!

  them and Oakmont are my banes, personally i think both courses should be turned back into goat farms and the club houses turned into night clubs, or burn em down....Hate the PA courses. LOL.

  3 things that help on Merion are. Using a punch shot, even on some drives. Flopping, chipping is a no no. Plan your approaches to finish below the hole.

  Thats how a US Open Course should play. Just saying. 

  I hope Pinehurst is even harder.
