    Heath021:

I wish there was a version for IMac.

Sorry ... I'm just not a Mac head.  Due to the program needing to store data on your hard disk, it's not compatible with the Mac.

I've looked & looked but no where can I see the "exe" file to download on the google link.

    Mathia,

I really don't understand why you are having such a difficult time finding the file to download.  I've put up a picture below and circled the image for you to choose.  When you go to the link I sent you, click on the file I've shown below, you will get a message telling you that the file cannot be previewed.  Select the "download" option and the file will be downloaded to your computer.

I really can't make this any simpler.  Can you pm me a screenshot of what you are seeing when you load my link?  Is it different than what I'm showing above (with regards to files, not screen layout)?

I really don't mean to come across condescending.  I'm trying to make this as simple as I can for you and everyone else.  Sorry if I came across that way.

I think when you open that file...  Information comes out on the screen for you to read.  At the bottom of screen you will see  'Download Now'  for you to click.

As I don't usually remember what I did yesterday, let alone last week...   I think this is how it worked...lol

I had another user tell me he couldn't see the above when he accessed my drive ... he found that by changing browsers, he was able to get to the list of files.  This could be a browser issue, Mathia.  Try a different browser.  Chrome, Comodo Dragon, Maxthon all come to mind.  I'm partial to Chrome since I use their cloud drive for storage!

Cool ... I'm getting lots of very nice replays sent my way ... I hope they are all due to (1) common sense with shot distances and (2) a little help from my friends!

    Happy golfing everyone!

This calculator is the cat's meow! (How's that for a play on words?)

I'd say the popularity of this calculator has been skyrocketing lately with my name on the top of the happy users list. I use it for all the usual calculations but analyze the results and then look to the visual indicators like distance, elevation, slope, etc to create my own estimate of how to make the shot. That helps me to learn the game better.

Another indicator of it's success is that Kat has, once again, taken 1st place in another tournament.

Congratulations Kat! And thanks for the wonderful calculator. I really appreciate how much  you give to the WGT community.

Have been testing the program for the last 2 weeks and love it!

The Putting Calculator is GREAT! It's nice to miss and not run 30 yards past the hole (lol).

The accuracy of your "Move flag" works very, very well. I am still working out how to tweek the wind variable when I only "ding" the ball 30% of the time.

Question on the Wind Calculator:- (I have been using Bilko's Program which yields range results very close to yours).  My notes record power (yardage) adjustments for each hole and these adjustments seem to work pretty well. For example, Oakmont #1 (Cally 33 & R-11 irons) say subtract 2 yards from the calculated distance  Where do I apply this correction on your Calculator? I've tried using the "Adj. Distance" box with mixed results.

Good question Wheels ... I subtract the distance from the total yardage.  For example ... distance marker says 162 yards but I know the hole plays 2 yards shorter ... I enter 160 in the distance.

I think 1 thing people either forget or don't realize is that they have to adjust the default specs on clubs spin rate and forgiveness not just yardage, also ball distance & spin, it makes a big difference in the calculations and less work dialing them in....

Forget the ding, miss on the wind side of the ding and make less adjustment allowing for the missed ding...

Only on the "gross" side, Harry.  The tourney I won was a "net score" tournament, using my tournament manager and handicapping.  While I did win on a gross score basis, I'm sure I didn't do as well against the higher handicaps.

I'm glad you like the calculators.  As you said, you do have to know what to do on each hole.  Some will play long and some will play short.  Some shots are simply going to have roll.  Combining shot knowledge with the calculators can only help with the scoring.
