  This game was really made by Americans for Americans; many of whom wouldn't know that Northern Ireland is a country. No offense intended to those few who are less ignorant.

  prude? lol. fatdan I don't need to pussyfoot around with comments to garner favour.

  The purpose of this thread is over an issue that's been raised countless times and though change has been promised little has been done.

  As for the comment itself, you and I both know that it's true. If you're among the minority of Americans who knows Northern Ireland is a country then consider yourself more informed instead of taking offense.

  LOL, you actually googled that Paul...slang for a stuffy old b!tch here, sorry, that's the impression he gives and it is against the rule to call someone a pr!ck!

  I just got into a riff with someone from the US for knocking another country, Mrs. Stevenson has a habit of of this then qualifying her statement with "if it doesn't apply to you why are you offended", which has little to do with a cartoon flag and much to do with his obvious dislike for our country.

  If I were an American in his little CC I would promptly find another home...

  On the contrary, I have many American friends and take no issue with Americans in general. My comment was to suggest why WGT are dragging their heels - because differences between foreign flags are of little importance to them regardless of what it means to the people of those countries.

  With this I agree. I mentioned way back thread this has been a member request for several years and not a thing has happened. I'd bet nothing is ever going to happen regardless of the protestations..

  No worries PRS.  My National WGT Enquirer insider at WGT reports the not-so-ignorant and extremely logical WGT engineering staff had no problem recognizing Scotland, England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.  The hold up seems to be they cannot find Southern Ireland.
