I can attest that there is no gold in Guernsey.

Yes Alosso I did zoom in on jimbogs flag up the top and no yellow cross. They are not the same.

But then you knew that and preferred to just be a troll like you always bloody are.

Swearing, going ad hominem: quite cheap IMHO. Out of arguments?
    Troll? Guess who!

    Regarding your theses:

    1) I never named a yellow cross - try to read what I write and not what you want to see!

    2) Sorry to say that the two tiny pics are the same.

This is my result from zooming them out with WORD - notice their identity, the constrictions?

Nevertheless, I concede that they in fact are English flags.

Below is a blow-up of england.gif from a graphics program; straight "English" beams but the lighter areas just inside the frame explain the difference of width in the representation above:

Here, too, both are the same.

What makes me laugh is they have a flag for Guernsey that is actually the flag of England. The Guernsey flag is like this below.

I mentioned this in a previous thread and no notice was taken. It doesn't do much to help change people's opinions about general American ignorance.

Opinions on general US ignorance is something I've gotten used to reading on International website member forums. One thing you might consider, and perhaps you've never considered, is general US indifference to your opinion of US ignorance. IMO.. indifference is behind this issue from WGT's side. They've heard about it from members here on numerous occasions and really don't care. Stay, leave, play or don't. They haven't done a thing about it yet.

If I had a say in the matter, there'd be no flags at all to be an issue. I don't so I default to indifference.

Thanks CeroniDevoti, actually it's the opposite. I would be surprised if an ignorant person did care because most people that are ignorant are exactly that....ignorant. They would rather stick their fingers in their ears and tell the world they don't care rather than actually learn anything.

Of course there are plenty of Americans who are aware. My point was not aimed at American players but to point out that WGT is not really helping change opinion of the negative stereotype all ready out there.

I'm living in China where most people are incapable of thinking for themselves. It's astounding how incredibly ignorant and self-absorbed they are. They couldn't care less about what the world or anyone else thinks. It's very sad.

So by the Chinese standard America doesn't look quite so ethnocentric or ignorant when it comes to learning about other places and cultures.

No flags at all would certainly take away the problem... but if WGT likes flags why get rid of something when you can just make a minor adjustment and get it right?

Problem solved. It's called 'forward thinking'.

I'm not surprised you are indifferent, why would you be? Why would you comment on this thread about personally being indifferent?...With all due respect, it seems rather pointless or am I missing the bigger picture here?

I believe the fact this subject has come up several times and not a thing has changed shows you're missing the obvious. WGT has no investment in "helping change opinion of the negative stereotype all ready out there".  You say this in the belief your and like opinions matter. Other than coming right out with a statement directly from Chad on the behalf of WGT, this company has made it pretty clear they don't care about opinions on this subject or changing them.

BTW, shouldn't you have a Chinese Flag to represent the Country in which you are residing at the time of playing this game?

Cerino that's a bit rich from someone who bangs on about uneven lies whenever they get the chance,

Time to raise the flag issue once more - WGT we're not going away.
